Moon sesquiquadrate: In hardened people, the heart has an iron shell; in sensitive ones, a plastic one. This aspect brings in the areas of the planet a general inner clumsiness and coarseness of perception, along with reflexive habits. For example, with a Mars-Moon sesquiquadrate, a person at a low level best understands the language of violence and tends to express themselves in the same manner, which also applies to their inner life—meaning they can be very harsh toward themselves, possibly engaging in self-persecution, cornering themselves, reshaping their psyche without anesthesia, and so on. In the areas of the planet, such a person may provoke mild irritation in others due to what seems like emotional insensitivity and a tendency to straightforwardly ignore anything they dislike, focusing only on their own (usually crude) needs, which they satisfy with iron determination. The person themselves usually doesn’t notice this behavior, but occasionally—though not always—sensing others’ negative attitudes, they retreat into their egoism, considering such complaints unjust, unfounded, and generally incomprehensible. Indeed, working through this aspect is difficult and requires strong desire for self-development and overcoming inner coarseness; it is extremely hard to bring this into awareness because the censorship of the subconscious here is coarse (just like the programs themselves) and often simply erases large chunks, leaving outright blank spots in memory and perception (the person says: “I don’t remember that at all, no matter what… and I somehow didn’t notice this at all, which is strange”). Working through this aspect leads to the ability to precisely and subtly manage at a distance the corresponding planetary fragments of the subconscious. Neptune sesquiquadrate: An idolater in any religion is still an idolater. At a low level of development, this person will clumsily lie or fall into mistaken situations within the planet’s spheres, which will seem to them inevitable and sometimes even constructive. For example, an unworked Jupiter-Neptune sesquiquadrate will likely make a person susceptible to flattery, and flattery may become their main weapon, which frequently leads them astray—yet it is difficult for them to realize this. At a low level, this aspect brings overly rigid boundaries of understanding and overly fixed meditative paths, usually quite low in quality, which the person nevertheless considers exemplary and leading exactly where they should. For instance, a Moon-Neptune sesquiquadrate may establish once and for all a specific rest ritual involving drinking alcohol, a drunken quarrel, and a hangover the next day, making any other recreational ideas unthinkable for the person. At a high level, the individual attains subtle paths of development in the planet’s spheres and revitalizes meditative practices; for example, well-worn prayer paths become overgrown with living flowers of delicate, dynamic, and never-repeating religious feelings and experiences—this is the path of saints who transcend the dogma of the official church.
