Jupiter-Uranus Sesquiquadrate
(Transit Jupiter → Natal Uranus)
Avesalom Podvodnyi. Aspects
Jupiter sesquiquadrate: The very concept of matter is deeply idealistic. This aspect brings formal expansion in the areas of the Planet; here, a person may be interested in scientific achievements, philosophical generalizations, or simply alternative directions of development, but tends to understand all this in a rather straightforward, simplistic manner, exclusively from egocentric and pragmatic positions. With poor handling, a peculiar rigid pride may emerge—where the individual does not accept compliments beyond the image they have established for themselves, yet demands its constant validation. This behavioral pattern is a reaction to an unconscious feeling of lacking true greatness, the effortless and natural breadth of possibilities characteristic, for example, of a Jupiter trine—such a person looks at a general as a colonel might. This individual tends to act as a benefactor, philanthropist, or patron in the areas ruled by the Planet, but their capabilities often fall short of the environment’s needs, and they must learn to account for this. Here, mistakes are far more visible than with a Jupiter semi-square, and blows to self-esteem are more painful. Proper integration allows for effective, competent, and timely assistance to others, and genuine expansion of possibilities in the areas governed by the Planet—but this requires learning to see in one’s tools not just ornamental embellishments, but also the quality of their sharpening. Uranus sesquiquadrate: God does not wish His existence to be proven by scientific methods, as He finds them insufficiently convincing. This aspect brings a somewhat awkward approach to Uranian revelations in the areas of the Planet—meaning the person processes them crudely and without proper respect, as a result of which they usually perish, just like Uranian signs themselves. For example, the Moon-Uranus sesquiquadrate offers the potential for subtle diagnosis of one’s own (and others’) physical illnesses, and at a higher level, the person may learn to use their body as an extremely refined diagnostic instrument for physical fields, to predict earthquakes, and so on. But all this requires great effort, particularly careful observation and interpretation of one’s biological reactions as reflections of external physical reality, and sometimes even one’s karma. At a low level, the Uranus sesquiquadrate manifests in the Planet’s sphere as sudden whims and stubbornness, adherence to often clumsy ideas poorly suited to solving relevant problems—in its unprocessed form, this is the aspect of mad inventors with incomplete education. At a high level, inventions succeed, and the person may create astonishing devices, tools, and methods far ahead of their time, yet the true meaning of their discoveries will most likely remain incomprehensible to them.
