Tridecile of the Sun: When participating in another’s life, an honest person strives to preserve it. This aspect provides an opportunity for the successful and constructive application of a person’s will toward the development of life in the areas governed by the Planet. The individual will not feel direct pressure from circumstances compelling them imperatively toward action, but will instead feel an impulse of inner vitality that seems to invite their involvement in issues related to revitalizing underdeveloped forms within the Planet’s domains. These matters will not seem foreign, but closely connected to the person personally. Indeed, participation in the development of life within the Planet’s spheres promises not only success in the endeavor itself, but also significant support in personal self-expression. Ultimately, the person may feel within themselves a truly human principle guiding the evolution of lower life forms. With a well-aspected Sun, this is a very favorable aspect; the person can achieve much if they overcome their laziness. Affliction of the Sun may give an incorrect direction to initiative, or external objective conditions may distort it, greatly hindering the person’s attempts to participate in the development of life within the Planet’s spheres. And if the Sun is also afflicted, without special work on the tridecile, its assistance will initially have a destructive character, even with the best intentions. Tridecile of Jupiter: Angelic wings exist not to throw dust into people’s eyes. This aspect gives the individual impulses to assist life processes and their development, to support them in diverse ways and expand their possibilities within the Planet’s spheres, though all this will require certain efforts from the person. At a high level, such a person may play an important role in the development of the Planet’s domains and their humanization, finding in this their human self-expression (or, more simply, their identity). At a low level, it may be limited to good wishes and a patronizing, contemptuous attitude. At a moderate level, there may arise a broad passive interest in the Planet’s spheres, especially regarding issues of their life and development (as the person understands them), along with certain situations where the person can actively realize this interest, though without strong compulsion. If Jupiter is harmonious, the person will have the opportunity to act within the Planet’s spheres as a benefactor or sponsor, supporting those life manifestations that appeal to them. If Jupiter is afflicted, similar pretensions may arise, or their beneficence may bring complications, and the life they seek to help will develop in ways entirely different from their desires, and, most importantly, without gratitude or recognition of their merits.
