Neptune in Sextile to Pluto

Neptune in sextile to Pluto Het Monster: A long-lasting aspect that influences an entire generation. The spiritual progress of world civilization. In an individual’s horoscope, when positioned in angular houses and strong dignities, it indicates unusual occult abilities and artistic talent.

Catherine O’Bé: The Neptune-Pluto sextile is a trine. A sextile: only if a person possesses an exceptionally high level of spiritual and intellectual development will the positive qualities of this aspect manifest, including instinctive understanding of hidden, incomprehensible matters and the ability to navigate the unconscious and occult realms.

A. Podvodny: Neptune-Pluto sextile

Neptune’s sextile: If you can understand—understand, for you will not have another such opportunity. The sextile of Neptune grants a person the potential for true comprehension of the planet’s principle, but this requires effort—often of a kind to which the person is neither prepared nor accustomed. Neptune distorts reality, both external and internal, and working with the sextile means avoiding gross distortions and illusions—those called deception and self-deception—in favor of the subtle. Some of these are called art, others meditation, and still others prayer… Thus, the choice offered by Neptune’s sextile (which may demand considerable inner effort and processing) provides the individual with a more refined distortion and a more refined temptation, and so on. At some point, the level and manner of perceiving the planetary principle suddenly become such that they may serve as revelation for others—provided the person succeeds in conveying their vision, which also requires effort. At a high level, Neptune’s sextile grants a subtle understanding of the planetary principle and its integration into such vibrational currents of energy flow that it creates the impression of revelation or a religious miracle. The person may remain largely unaware of precisely why or how they act, but the sensation of elevated flow and simultaneous resistance to the material will serve as indirect signs of attained perfection.

At a low level, Neptune’s sextile offers many opportunities for deception and self-deception, yet it also evokes a sense of attraction toward the planet, a feeling of ecstasy in mastering its principle. However, this demands great diligence, particularly in cultivating inner honesty in assessing one’s true achievements. If the planet is afflicted, the individual may evade unpleasant realities by retreating into a world of illusion—with Neptune’s assistance, of course—but sooner or later, harsh disappointments or blows of fate will follow. False pity is easily distinguished from genuine compassion, which the person will keenly sense when directed toward them.

Pluto’s sextile: Striving to make the world worthy of yourself, remember that this is impossible. Pluto’s sextile grants a person opportunities for purification in the spheres governed by the planet, and these opportunities should not be neglected. In life, this influence often lacks a pronounced emphasis, yet the person still notices that when choosing and implementing the opportunities offered by the planet, they must act with care—improper actions, particularly any form of shoddy work, lead to irreversible losses and the collapse of constructive endeavors. Sometimes Pluto may present several options for sacrifice, and here the person must exercise extreme caution, avoiding impulsive decisions and, if possible, postponing the sacrifice for as long as feasible; sudden blows from Pluto’s influence are always better prevented in advance. Processing this aspect leads to the purification of the planetary principle in the individual’s inner life, including the subconscious programs tied to the planet’s spheres of influence. This purification occurs almost automatically as a byproduct of the person’s inner efforts directed toward achieving specific goals offered by the sextile, and it includes, among other things, the eradication of the thirst for power over others—a drive that the planetary principle awakens in the individual.

At a high level, the emphasis in the sextile may shift toward Pluto (which rarely occurs at the average level and signifies harsh blows of fate), and the person then actively participates in grand programs tied to the burning away of karmic knots. In the concrete forms of their work, the constructive influence of the planet will be felt. At a low level, the person will attempt to avoid constructive purification and acts of sacrifice for themselves, seeking to postpone or shift them onto others over whom they hold power in the planet’s spheres—and they will be keenly aware of those others’ flaws. With strong energy, this projection may, for a time (and with effort), function tolerably well, but playing with Plutonian programs always follows the principle of “he who lives by the sword dies by the sword”—meaning that the purification of others either precedes or is followed by one’s own voluntary or forced cleansing.
