However, this will require considerable effort, and especially the cultivation of inner honesty in assessing one’s real achievements. If the Planet is afflicted, there may be a tendency to escape unpleasantness into the world of illusions, in which Neptune, of course, will assist, but later severe disappointments or blows of fate will begin. False pity differs from genuine compassion, which a person senses perfectly when it is directed toward them.
