Chiron conjunction: It is better to serve God with benefit than to serve the devil without profit. A conjunction with Chiron gives the planet a special sense of humor, which at first is appreciated more by others than by the person themselves, since the jokes are made at their expense. This aspect creates a karmic necessity to work with the planet’s principle in an unconventional way, triggered by developmental deadlocks and chaotic, incomprehensible situations where an inner meaning is felt but cannot be grasped while remaining in familiar life positions. For example, a conjunction of Chiron with the Moon may produce unusual or common illnesses that for some reason resist standard treatments and can literally torment the person until they turn to methods that official medicine considers quackery or at least highly suspicious. However, only a very harmonious conjunction with Chiron brings rapid solutions bordering on miracles; usually, the person must seriously master and materialize (at least for themselves) new, initially semi-fantastical views, techniques, or methods. This often requires inner work within the subconscious programs governed by the planet. For instance, working through a conjunction of Chiron with Pluto involves reevaluating one’s views (often initially completely unconscious) on fate, spiritual purification and repentance, the interconnection of personal and collective karma (“the role of personality in history”), and so on. Integrating this conjunction can bring extraordinary creative abilities in the areas ruled by the planet, along with techniques and methods that create miraculous effects, yet appear entirely “scientific” and “rational” to the next generation. The main methodological principle of Chiron is: “To understand means to get used to.” However, the essence of working through a planet’s conjunction with Chiron lies not so much in qualitatively new expressions of the planet’s principle, but in the expansion of consciousness generated through it. Pluto conjunction: Fate, while pursuing a person, does not necessarily aim to catch up. In the spheres ruled by the planet in conjunction with Pluto, the person will feel the breath of fate; with strong energetic activation, those around them will also sense it, especially when they activate the planet. The purpose of this fate is the cleansing and renewal of the planet’s principle as it manifests in the person’s destiny, determined not only by the natal chart but also by the individual’s personal choices throughout life. At a low level, the person may feel that misfortunes and irreversible losses seem to lurk in the areas ruled by the planet, and here they truly need to cultivate humility and learn to operate on higher vibrations of the corresponding energies—otherwise, the most unpleasant consequences may follow (especially with a well-aspected planet in the environment). A particular feature of working through a conjunction with Pluto is that Pluto never considers a person sufficiently purified, and in the areas of life where the planet’s principle is active, the person will feel this strongly. The process of integration is expressed in changing the tools Pluto uses: a garbage truck and bin, a broom and dustpan, or a brush and cigarette paper. At a high level, this aspect provides deep insight into existential issues of the house where the conjunction is located, as well as the spheres ruled by the planet, the ability to work with its principle in a very subtle way, and the capacity to resolve major karmic problems in the corresponding fields through minimal influences.
