Venus conjunction: One can benefit society only after first separating oneself from it. The conjunction with Venus imparts strong social and aesthetic emphases to the planet’s principle; at a low level, in the areas ruled by the planet, this person will be aesthetically capricious and socially conditioned; public opinion and the principle of “what people do” will be highly significant for them, and freeing the planet’s principle from the influence of social clichés will be difficult, sometimes leading to ridiculous dogmatism and absurd, unpredictable effects when attempting to apply social stereotypes in entirely inappropriate situations—this is how the aspect manifests at this level. Another characteristic of Venus’s influence on the planet in conjunction with it is an emphasis on love, not necessarily erotic. Working through the aspect brings divine light to any manifestation of the planet; at a low level, the person does not accept the planet’s manifestations unless they are accompanied by a considerable amount of directed love or social attention, although (karmically) they should not so much receive as radiate love in corresponding situations. For example, a child with Venus in conjunction with Saturn can be made to study systematically or simply concentrate only through kindness, affection, love, gentle persuasion, etc., but never by force, and public ridicule will literally force them to cower in a corner and burst into tears. At a low level, Venus relaxes the planet, making the person a social parasite and refined egoist in the corresponding areas, but during the process of integration, egoism gradually gives way to service to others; for instance, the conjunction of Venus with the Moon may produce a glutton and gourmet who cares exclusively about their stomach, while after integration, a wonderful chef who presents dishes as if for an art exhibition; the same applies to their sex life. Chiron conjunction: It is better to serve God with benefit than to serve the Devil selflessly. The conjunction with Chiron gives the planet a special sense of humor, initially appreciated more by others than by the person themselves, since the jokes are made at their expense. This aspect creates a karmic necessity for non-standard processing of the planet’s principle, stimulated by developmental deadlocks and chaotic, incomprehensible situations where an inner meaning is felt but cannot be grasped while remaining in conventional life positions. Thus, the conjunction of Chiron with the Moon may bring unusual or common illnesses that for some reason resist standard treatments, potentially tormenting the person until they turn to methods that official medicine considers quackery or at least highly suspicious. However, only a very harmonious conjunction with Chiron brings rapid problem resolution bordering on miracles; usually, the person must seriously master and materialize (at least for themselves) new, initially semi-fantastical views, techniques, or methods. This often requires inner work within the subconscious programs governed by the planet. For example, working through the conjunction of Chiron with Pluto implies reevaluating one’s views (often initially completely unconscious) on death, spiritual purification and repentance, the interconnection of personal and world karma (“the role of personality in history”), and so on. Integrating the conjunction bestows extraordinary creative abilities in the areas ruled by the planet, along with techniques and methods that create miraculous effects, yet appear entirely “scientific” and “rational” to the next generation. The fundamental methodological principle of Chiron is: “To understand means to get used to.” However, the essence of working through the conjunction of a planet with Chiron lies not so much in qualitatively new developmental variants of the planet’s principle, but in the expansion of consciousness generated through its agency.
