Sun’s biquintile: A promising direction for eradicating crime lies in the universal application of mercy. This aspect directs a person’s initiative in the planet’s spheres toward lower and imperfect forms of life, which on a low level manifests primarily as authoritative instructions and directives carried out without proper understanding of the matter. In reality, this aspect indicates that a person can take constructive part in the issues of lower life, and moreover, such life requires their volitional impulses and initiatives—but only provided there is genuine understanding and not merely selfish interest. Then the person can achieve much, and in doing so, not only their own vitality will grow, but also their human essence will be expressed. Affliction of the Sun signifies strong dictatorial tendencies, a propensity to disregard the complexity of inner antagonisms and problems of lower life, and an emphasized separation of it from oneself as evolutionarily higher; Affliction of the planet indicates the complexity of lower life issues (including in corresponding spheres) and the strength of one’s own egoism. Harmony between the Sun and the planet signifies the temptation of purely selfish, easy consumption of lower life forms, which will offer no noticeable resistance and, on the contrary, will initially be only delighted by any attention from such a lofty companion, even if he sprinkles them with rue and spices them with garlic in a quite obvious manner. For example, a harmonious Sun-Moon biquintile provides good understanding of domestic animals and affectionate relationships with them of an urban type (“beloved dog sleeping with the owner on the same bed”) or rural type (“eat, eat, little pig, until autumn when we’ll slaughter you”). Mercury’s biquintile: When casting lines, pupae usually surface. This aspect, at low and intermediate levels, gives the person in the planet’s spheres a semblance of rational understanding of lower life forms and a mental interest in them. However, their thoughts in this direction will be marked by a certain liveliness, and with a harmonious Mercury, they may prove useful—at least, the charm of their speech will not be wasted, and skill in organizing the functioning of lower life for personal benefit may be extraordinary: this is the aspect of the colonizer. An afflicted Mercury-Pluto biquintile may produce a ruthless slave trader, though this is rather an exception; at the intermediate level, the person still attempts, however condescendingly, to treat the natives humanely, to develop (to the extent accessible) their rational thinking, and to appeal to it. If Mercury is afflicted, this will initially go poorly, and a person with such a biquintile may seriously attempt to appeal to the logic and reason of a one-year-old child; if the planet is afflicted, the person’s rational reasoning, despite all its correctness, will be ineffective, and they will have to rely on their intuition and innate humanity, which may suggest behavior that is logically non-obvious but accurate in the most intricate situations.
