Venus biquintile: The philosopher goes deep, the politician rises up, while the common man splashes in a puddle of irresponsibility. This aspect imparts in the areas of the Planet a socialized attitude toward lower forms of life, meaning the individual here is under strong influence of social stereotypes. At a low level, this tends to have rather positive significance (for example, the principle “children and animals should not be harmed”), while at higher levels it may produce pronounced snobbery—that is, emphasized separation, considering such (for example, the disdainful gaze of a city dweller toward provincial life, or of an economically developed country toward a backward one). Deep processing, especially of biquintiles to planets of the third and fourth level, provides insight into social progress within karmic programs and the evolutionary development of humanity (which is not easy, since these processes are often directed oppositely). At an intermediate level, the person will be interested in the lives of various social strata, especially lower ones, their typical problems and contradictions—humanity. In its harmonious variant, this aspect bestows tact, charm, and ease of understanding in communication with lower social strata, perception of the beauty in subhuman forms of life (animals, plants, etc.), and natural joy in interacting with them (in the areas of the Planet). In the afflicted variant, various emotions—including love and hatred—toward lower forms of life may arise, during which one should always first seek expression of the humanity embedded within the individual. Mars biquintile: “You don’t beat those who are lying down—you walk over them and wipe your feet.” This aspect grants in the areas of the Planet activity and energy directed toward interaction with lower forms of life. Affliction of Mars will make this energy destructive, though the person will not notice this immediately; they may sincerely believe that everything they do toward lower life benefits it (even though it, being foolish and ungrateful, often fails to understand and attempts to protest). If the Planet itself is afflicted, the individual may become a tormentor of lower life, a cruel viceroy (a more prosaic example—under Mars-Mercury biquintile—a strict schoolteacher who suppresses any expression of life in students and is aggressively dissatisfied with their knowledge in their subject). In the harmonious variant, this aspect allows one to easily find an adequate way to participate in the issues of lower forms of life and, by exerting minimal effort, gain great dividends. However, one should not speculate on this, otherwise the opportunities for expressing and developing humanity within oneself will be irreversibly lost. Proper integration enables energetic and skillful participation in the development of imperfect life, while simultaneously allowing the individual to grow, gaining the opportunity to soften their own lower aggressive programs of the subconscious by directing energy in a more cultured and constructive manner.
