Ketu in the 5th House
Francesca Sakoyan. Planets in Houses
The quality of a role is tested on stage. In tradition, this person values social roles and “I” images approved by ancestors and inherited from them. It is in mastering and skillfully, appropriately using these roles that the individual sees an unshakable foundation for connecting their present time with the past. In current social trends, they seek and welcome new forms of group activity, bringing people together not for the sake of achieving overly specific goals. Here, they are thoroughly modern; old forms of group work, and even the established concept of friendship, do not satisfy them. They seek friends among contemporary people and attempt to build relationships with them in an entirely new way—this may involve known expenditures, yet being in a group with them or simply being friends is interesting, and there are usually those who wish to. In inner life, the foundation of the psyche consists of subconscious programs supporting the performance of various roles and the person’s “I” images. These programs are highly stable, and the person dislikes changing or supplementing them with new ones. They readily adopt programs enabling their participation in non-goal-oriented groups and collectives lacking any obvious specific task to solve, from their perspective. Their life may involve many different groups, but the roles they play within them will be approximately the same ones, which they (karmically) must carefully refine and learn to flexibly combine according to the current group’s needs.
