Chiron in Pisces
Pavlo Globa. Planets in the Zodiac Signs
This position of Chiron occurred during the periods 1911–1916 and 1960–1968. Here, Chiron is located in the nocturnal house of Jupiter and Neptune, in the sign of Venus’s exaltation, in the sign of the mysterious Water element. This is the most enigmatic placement of Chiron. It can grant you great sensitivity and awareness of subtle cosmic vibrations. You may become a medium with many other occult abilities. Likely, you possess a talent for occult creativity. In this state, you can immerse yourself in any meditative processes, dissolving into space and time. Moreover, you can become an excellent psychologist who understands the subtlest structures of the soul. On a mundane level, you might be a gifted actor or a fashion trendsetter. You have good plasticity and a sense of form. In the worst case, you may exhibit complete disorganization and dependence, obvious frivolity and emptiness, frequent feelings of depletion and exhaustion. You might “spit into the well from which you drink,” “spit into the soul,” carefully choosing the place and time. There may be confusion in feelings and relationships, eclecticism in religion and ideas, and a lack of time perception.

Practical Pisces. In the lower octave, Chiron stirs up great turbulence around Pisces; it tosses them from side to side—now into occultism, now into extreme materialism, now into internal experiences—but nowhere can they establish a sufficiently reliable foundation, a core that would provide stability. However, the purpose of the stream of events and experiences that Chiron brings to Pisces is for them to reevaluate their views of the world and themselves, to learn to respect both their external and internal reality, and to see the direct connection between them. External problems are the consequences of internal ones: and as the latter are resolved, the former are either resolved or fall away by themselves—this is the most important lesson that Chiron offers to Pisces. But in order to assimilate this principle, Pisces must learn to navigate their subconscious and its issues; Chiron provides this opportunity, but in return demands a restructuring of Pisces’ ethics: it becomes evident that not only certain actions are unethical, but also tense thoughts and desires. Chiron gives Pisces practical orientation and, at the same time, an unconventional perspective on things: they become inclined to apply their psychological and mystical abilities practically, in working with people. The evolved aspect grants the ability to perceive one’s own and others’ subconscious programs as almost material objects, to orient oneself in energetic flows and karmic programs of various egregores, clear clairvoyance in many matters, etc., but for this, Pisces must develop a very clear ethical framework, which alone can save them from chaos. Working through this aspect gives Pisces the possibility of practical and sometimes quite active actions (in cases where the situation has been thoroughly assessed and such action is required), actions that are highly effective and constructive—something extremely rare among lower-octave Pisces; however, Pisces should not become overly attached to active deeds, considering the subtlety of their karmic tasks, which can only be fulfilled through direct inner work.
