Chiron in Pisces
Pavel Globa. Planets in the Zodiac Signs
Chiron occupied this position during the periods from 1911 to 1916 and from 1960 to 1968. Here, Chiron is located in the nocturnal domicile of Jupiter and Neptune, in the sign of Venus’ exaltation, in the sign of the mysterious Water element. This is the most enigmatic position of Chiron. It can grant you heightened sensitivity and awareness of subtle cosmic vibrations. You may become a medium with many other occult abilities. You are likely to possess a talent for occult creativity. At the same time, you can immerse yourself in meditative processes, dissolve into space and time. Furthermore, you may excel as a psychologist who understands the subtlest structures of the soul. On a mundane level, you may be a gifted actor or a trendsetter. You have good plasticity and a sense of form. In the worst case, you may exhibit complete scatterbrainedness and lack of independence, obvious frivolity and emptiness, often leading to exhaustion and depletion. You may “spit into the well from which you drink,” “spit into the soul,” having carefully chosen the place and time. You may experience confusion in feelings and relationships, eclecticism in religion and ideas, and a lack of time awareness.

Practical Pisces. In the lower octave, Chiron stirs up great turbidity around Pisces; it is tossed from side to side—now toward occultism, now toward extreme materialism, now toward inner experiences—but nowhere does it find a sufficiently reliable foundation, a core that would give it stability. However, the essence of the flow, events, and experiences that Chiron brings to Pisces lies in the need to re-examine one’s views on the world and oneself, learn to respect both external and internal reality, and see the direct connection between them. External problems are the consequences of internal ones: as the latter are resolved, the former either resolve themselves or fall away—this is the most important lesson Chiron teaches Pisces. Yet, to assimilate this principle, Pisces must learn to navigate their subconscious and its issues; Chiron provides this opportunity but demands a restructuring of Pisces’ ethics in return. It turns out that not only certain actions but also tense thoughts and desires can be unethical. Chiron gives Pisces practical direction and, at the same time, a non-standard perspective on things: they become inclined to apply their psychological and mystical abilities in practice, working with people. A developed aspect grants the ability to perceive one’s and others’ subconscious programs almost as tangible objects, to navigate energy flows and karmic programs of various egregores, and to possess clear clairvoyance in many matters, among other things. However, Pisces must cultivate a very clear ethics to avoid chaos. Working through this aspect enables Pisces to take practical and sometimes quite active actions (when the situation is well-considered and demands it), which are highly effective and constructive—something rarely seen in the lower octave of Pisces. Yet, Pisces should not indulge in active actions excessively, given the subtleties of their karmic tasks, which can only be fulfilled directly through themselves.
