Sun quintile: As the Lord awakens life within a person, He cares not only for the individual. Initiatives arising in the person within the spheres of the Planet will attract through their freshness and novelty, proving especially valuable in situations of stagnation and inertia (it is important, however, to understand that these initiatives may not necessarily emerge directly within the Planet’s spheres, since the quintile is a minor aspect). If the Sun is afflicted, these initiatives will sharply contradict established stereotypes, and the person, encountering strong resistance from the environment, may sincerely suffer, feeling how their life and sincerity are being extracted and trampled underfoot—though usually with substantial cause: these initiatives may be perceived as inadequate or even hostile by the environment. A harmonious Sun, on the contrary, brings exceptionally attractive expressions within the Planet’s sphere, and life itself seems to smile upon the individual; others find their initiatives interesting, and they are capable, if they wish, of revitalizing other people and circumstances within the Planet’s domains—though this will meet with great difficulties if the Planet is afflicted. If both the Sun and the Planet are well-placed, and harmonious aspects are not actively worked with, they may ultimately dry out the vitality of the quintile through laziness and boredom; the frustration of the quintile may instead place vitality as a condition of survival, giving the person the strongest impulse for its activation and development. Chiron quintile: Life, unlike the person studying it, never reaches a dead end. This is a highly promising aspect, provided one undertakes its development, as it brings vision and the materialization of life within the Planet’s spheres in ways where life was previously almost imperceptible. For example, the Chiron-Moon quintile grants abilities to perceive the human biofield and organs; at a high level, it enables healing through “conversations” with various body parts and internal organs as living beings possessing distinct characters and rudimentary consciousness (according to yogic teachings, the liver is stubborn and responds best to gentle persuasion, and so on). The Chiron quintile may produce anecdotal manifestations of life in objects and the perfect moment (a hot frying pan, alive, slips from the hands and escapes under the cabinet), creating unimaginable chaos of uncontrolled life expressions that initially sound humorous but, when systematically repeated over a prolonged period, may deeply penetrate the subconscious or fundamentally expand one’s understanding of life and responsibilities toward it. For example, Mercury quintile Chiron in the fourth house may mean that the person will have to rationally recognize as alive certain members of their family who (as they initially believe) completely lack this quality, at least within the domains where Mercury is placed. Yet eventually, the Chiron quintile provides an exit from life’s developmental dead ends, including within the family.
