Tridecile of Mercury: When left alone with one’s thoughts, take care that they do not grow dull. This person is vividly interested in manifestations and difficulties of life’s development within the spheres of the Planet; they will tend to apply their mind here, or at least speak about these topics. During processing, this provides good opportunities for rational understanding of life development issues within the Planet’s spheres and potential mental agility directed toward solving them. By realizing their mental abilities in this way, the person will feel great satisfaction from the human essence within themselves. This aspect gives a need (and opportunities) for self-expression in the Planet’s sphere through mental activity, and during processing, this self-expression will be both lively and interesting to others. For example, a tridecile Mercury-Jupiter during processing may produce an original and direct spiritual guide, with a lively and inventive mind, authoritative precisely to the necessary degree: “…for My burden is light”… at a low level, the person will consider themselves an exceptional expert (and benefactor) in life manifestations of analysis, both in terms of philosophical generalizations, and overall gives life-giving qualities, yet the thought of life itself about its successes in these spheres will concern them little. Tridecile of Chiron: On the axis of the cart of life are situated: on one side, the wheel of fortune, on the other, the cross of destiny. When processed, this aspect provides in the Planet’s spheres, first, standard and unexpected perception and understanding of life and development processes in general, and second, the ability to participate in these processes, materially and constructively resolving problems that seemed fundamentally unsolvable. Initially, the aspect may manifest as a sudden interest in life manifestations within the Planet’s spheres, which will place the person in an intellectual blind alley, going beyond their previous conceptions of the world. Overall, this aspect is harmonious, and in some cases it may provide fate’s protection, but its most pronounced expressions occur with the person’s conscious involvement in life development issues within the Planet’s sphere of influence, where they will reveal pronounced creative abilities and gain (as a result of honest work, if capable of it—here one must examine the horoscope as a whole and work through Saturn) self-expression with a strong sense of humor. Defeat of Chiron will, admittedly, make it the most regular object of such humor, yet when processed, will allow understanding and participation in a much broader spectrum of interesting and vital affairs within the Planet’s sphere than with a weak or harmonious Chiron.
