Tridecile of the Sun: When participating in another’s life, an honest person strives to preserve it. This aspect provides an opportunity for the successful and constructive application of a person’s will toward the development of life in the areas governed by the Planet. The individual will not feel direct pressure from circumstances compelling them toward action, but will instead experience an impulse of inner vitality that seems to invite involvement in issues related to revitalizing stagnant forms within the Planet’s domains. These matters will not seem foreign, but closely connected to the person personally. Indeed, participation in the development of life within the Planet’s spheres promises not only success in the endeavor itself, but also significant support in personal self-expression. Ultimately, the person may feel within themselves a truly human principle guiding the evolution of lower life forms. With a well-aspected Sun, this is a very favorable aspect; the person can achieve much if they overcome their laziness. An afflicted Sun may give incorrect direction to initiative, or external objective conditions may distort it, greatly hindering the person’s attempts to participate in the development of life within the Planet’s spheres. Tridecile of Venus: The life of the social environment rarely has an anthropomorphic character. This aspect gives a desire to participate in social moments arising within the Planet’s spheres. These moments represent for the individual an opportunity for self-expression; they feel in them the breath of life that attracts and calls them to apply their abilities. In the Planet’s domains, the person senses the life of beauty; aesthetic ideals attract them, and fate will provide an opportunity to revitalize the Planet’s spheres through art, especially if Venus is strong. At a lower level, all this occurs under significant influence of social stereotypes, which threatens the life the person attempts to assist with rapid destruction. If the person encounters love within the Planet’s spheres, they may, through proper conduct, greatly revitalize it and gain opportunities for deeply human self-expression—though this combines poorly with sexuality understood in a primitive manner. For example, the tridecile Venus-Mars potentially enables strong, humane expressions in love, but attempts by the individual or their partner to force passionate (with animal overtones) desires will end in complete failure, even though the beginning of love may promise a very energetic and vibrant continuation.
