Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Venus Tridecile: The life of the social environment rarely has an anthropomorphic character. This aspect gives a desire to participate in social moments arising in the spheres of the Planet. These moments represent for the individual an opportunity for self-expression; they feel in them the breath of life that attracts and calls them to apply their efforts. In the Planet’s spheres, the person feels the life of beauty; aesthetic ideals attract them, and fate will provide an opportunity to enliven the Planet’s areas of influence through art, especially with a strong Venus; at a low level, all this occurs under significant influence of social stereotypes, which threatens the life into which the person intervenes with rapid destruction. If the individual encounters love in the Planet’s spheres, they may, through proper behavior, greatly revitalize it and gain opportunities for deeply human self-expression, although this combines poorly with sexuality understood in a primitive manner. For example, the Venus-Mars tridecile potentially gives strong and humane expressions in love, but attempts by the individual or their partner to force passionate (with animal overtones) desires end in complete failure, even though the beginning of love may promise a very energetic and vivid continuation. Pluto Tridecile: While governing the destinies of nations, one must not forget one’s own. This aspect potentially provides good insight into the flaws and defects in the development of life within the Planet’s spheres, whereby, if Pluto is afflicted, the individual may see only these flaws, creating an overall rather gloomy picture. A harmonious Pluto grants the individual great opportunities for effectively treating these vices, particularly through eliminating parasitic forms of life, from which they may derive great satisfaction. For example, a well-processed Pluto-Luna tridecile can produce a good physician (especially with a strong sixth or twelfth house), and a Pluto-Venus tridecile—a harsh art critic, biting satirist, or, with a strong Mercury, a journalist who lashes out at societal sores. At a low level, criticism of life development in the Planet’s spheres can be destructive and largely unjust, yet usually stems from good intentions and for the greater good, though it does not always bring benefit, especially when the Planet is afflicted. With severe affliction to the tridecile, tendencies toward black teaching of life manifestations are possible—that is, their conscious destruction—but usually at the lowest level, as a consequence of personal frustrations accompanied by pathological failures during attempts to manifest life development (in the Planet’s spheres) within their inner world and express it outwardly.
