The astrologer of our portal, Anzhelika Zhuravska, has begun a series of publications about children and the zodiac signs. Today about Aries. There is already a considerable amount of observations about adults, so writing this topic is not difficult for me, but with children it is another matter. Therefore I would like to ask each of you to join this series of publications and recall and describe your brightest traits in childhood as a representative of your zodiac sign. And if you can also describe your child, that would be wonderful. The most vivid and characteristic examples, with your permission, will be used for academic purposes: in lectures, in teaching materials. Thank you in advance to everyone who responds.
So, let’s talk about Aries
What could an Aries be like in childhood? I will start with a general description of the most characteristic moments of this zodiac sign. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, the most active and the most difficult to manage. Most often it is the planets in this sign that make children hyperactive or simply very mobile in movement and emotions. Whenever a person has a very bright emotional expression, the astrologer looks for planets in the birth chart associated with this sign. The sign is masculine or distinctly male, so boys get along with it more harmoniously, while girls tend to take on the image of a Little Rascal or Pippi Longstocking. The child is swift, off‑center, restless, decisive, unwavering in their pursuits, sincere, strong, rhythmic; in their enthusiasm they do not notice the state of other people or hear them, therefore they often seem not very obedient. Not greedy, sincere in their kindness, natural in all their emotions—each emotion in absolute form (to love as love, to hate as hate, to cry as cry), a pioneer and tracker, an individualist. However, often stubborn, vulnerable, inflamed, demanding or attracting a lot of attention, they do not like to be alone. What do Aries children play with—their characteristic toys? A ball, a drum, toy cars or motorcycles, a toy sword… Aries girls usually do not play much with dolls; they are not into them, preferring many other interesting activities in the form of active games: hide‑and‑seek, tag, Cossacks‑bandits, and climbing trees is also fun…. The Aries girl is perfectly reflected in the image of Pippi Longstocking.
Aries boy child: a bright, cheerful, mischievous, light‑haired youngster in a shirt torn by today’s games, riding with an expression of excitement, overtaking an imaginary opponent on a horse or a car. He is racing somewhere in his imagination… Here on a French photographer’s site, Oleksiy Sorokopud found a wonderful characteristic photo of an Aries boy.
Could you also be an Aries? If you are an Aries, please indicate how you were as an Aries child. Name your favorite toy or game in childhood. What was your favorite dish as a child? What made you always feel strongly? Can you answer the question about what you always tried to avoid as an unpleasant event? Why? What always delighted you in childhood? Why? Who was your favorite fairy‑tale hero? In one word—share with us your Aries way. Thank you very much in advance. More to come…
