Uranus conjunction: The magnitude of what it accomplishes is such that it can only fit into mania. This is not an easy aspect, as in the areas ruled by the planet in conjunction with Uranus, the person, whether they wish it or not, sometimes becomes a guinea pig of the Absolute, whose ways are inscrutable—especially at first. Generally, this is a very powerful aspect, and if the individual manages to adapt to fate’s rhythm in the areas ruled by the planet and learns to read or at least pay attention to the karmic signs being sent to them, they will not only protect themselves (and those around them) from numerous difficulties, but also demonstrate an extraordinarily unconventional perception of the world, and possibly. Unfortunately, they will most likely greatly overestimate their value: these diamonds require cutting, after which a much smaller diamond remains. If the conjunction is strongly afflicted, the strain on the planet may become unbearable for the person, and in the corresponding areas they will struggle to remain within socially acceptable boundaries—meaning many of their ideas and actions will be completely incomprehensible to others, and the shadow of a psychiatric hospital may loom over the individual. One must learn to ground their fantasies and smooth out acute states, which can be achieved by activating harmonious aspects of the planet or its dispositor, and, as always, working with Saturn and cultivating respect for external reality (working through the 10th house), as well as developing a sense of humor (working through Chiron). When the planet has harmonious aspects, this conjunction becomes most dangerous for others—especially those who activate the planet—while at the same time it is precisely with them and for them that their unexpected ingenuity, bursts of ideas, and energy manifest. Chiron conjunction: It is better to serve God usefully than to serve the devil uselessly. A conjunction with Chiron gives the planet a special sense of humor, which at first is appreciated more by others than by the person themselves, since the jokes are made at their expense. This aspect creates a karmic necessity for unconventional processing of the planet’s principle, stimulated by developmental deadlocks and chaotic, incomprehensible situations in which an inner meaning is sensed but cannot be grasped from conventional life positions. For example, a conjunction of Chiron with the Moon may bring unusual or common illnesses that for some reason resist standard treatments and may literally torment the person until they turn to methods considered quackery or at least highly suspicious by official medicine. However, only a very harmonious conjunction with Chiron brings rapid problem resolution bordering on miracle; usually, the person must seriously master and materialize (at least for themselves) new, initially semi-fantastical views, techniques, or methods. This often requires inner work within the subconscious programs ruled by the planet. For instance, working through a conjunction of Chiron with Pluto involves reevaluating one’s views (often initially completely unconscious) on death, spiritual purification and repentance, the interconnection of personal and collective karma (“the role of personality in history”), and so on. Processing the conjunction grants extraordinary creative abilities in the areas ruled by the planet, along with techniques and methods that create miraculous effects, yet appear entirely “scientific” and “rational” to the next generation. Chiron’s main methodological principle is: “To understand means to get used to.” However, the essence of working through a planet’s conjunction with Chiron lies not so much in qualitatively new variations of the planet’s principle, but in the expansion of consciousness that arises through its development.
