Your child is busy searching for the "beautiful." He needs to feel the attractiveness and "put-togetherness" of his appearance in order to feel at ease. This does not mean excessive precision. Artistic disorder, such as the mess he might leave in his room after agonizing over what to wear and how to prepare for a meeting, is more than possible. Yet from this terrible chaos emerges the child himself—everything in harmony, each hair in place.
He needs a comfortable environment. In his peers, your child will also tend to favor refinement. Bullying, rudeness, and untidiness provoke hostility in him. He usually greets others with politeness, even charm, and shows affection by being kind and attentive. He will always insist that everything be fair and is unlikely to be deceived by others, at least for long.
This child will highly value art and will very likely demonstrate talent in one of its forms. Make sure he has plenty of opportunities to try various art forms—drawing, poetry, painting, dancing, vocal and instrumental music. Take him to the theater, concerts, museums, and fashion shows.
