Leader. The dispositor of the 11th house is in detriment. The group does not need a boss, but this person has too much energy directed toward managing and directly controlling the activities of the members. At a low level, he constantly interferes in their work and, with the tone of an unquestionable authority, energetically dictates who should do what and how, not at all embarrassed by his incompetence and ignorance. With a strong 10th house, a weak 11th, and the defeat of Leo, there may even be direct attempts to usurp power in the group, though this is relatively rare. More often, the person settles for local self-assertion at the expense of other members, demonstrating that only he truly works. Here, the processing comes through channeling his energy, enthusiasm, and self-confidence toward others, and only when the person learns to rejoice in the successes and self-assertion of others does the 11th house begin to function constructively. With weak personal energy, the group may suppress him, especially if Leo is afflicted. Any manifestation of the person will be perceived as a malicious attempt at self-assertion at the expense of others, and he will be firmly and unambiguously put in his place, sometimes even in advance, and often misunderstood.
