Moon biquintile: The people do not possess the language through which they could express their soul. This aspect grants in the areas of the planet a good intuitive understanding of lower forms of life, especially biological needs, if the person desires it. In its harmonious variant, it skillfully selects the landscape, food, lighting, and oxygen levels for aquarium fish, and easily finds common ground with a down-and-out alcoholic, sincerely pitying him; and although it may not set him on the true path (which, of course, is difficult), at least it warms him emotionally, feeling Moon-Venus in the process. When the Moon is afflicted, lower forms of life in the planet’s spheres will constantly irritate the person, allowing him to vent on them the aggression arising from entirely different causes, for example, from planets forming stressful major aspects to the Moon. In such cases, it will be difficult for him to recognize either the (even potential) spirituality of lower life forms or (especially) the connection between their problems and imperfections and his own, although the analogy may be obvious: thick owners most often have thick dogs, and the evolutionary development of a family egregor is easiest to determine by its level. Neptune biquintile: Even geese have their mantras. This aspect gives in the planet’s spheres love for lower forms of life and compassion toward them; at a high level, subtle understanding and humane attitude, where the person acts as a higher being, that is, a kind of deity. At a low level, there is no true understanding, but the person seeks lower life in search of lower meditations, profaning himself down to it and achieving a lower octave of those feelings and experiences which, in the higher variant, are desirable but inaccessible without special effort. For example, a Neptune-Mercury or Neptune-Venus biquintile may produce a socially adjusted, non-drinking person who adores conversations with vagrants, alcoholics, etc., voluntarily helping them obtain their next dose or simply providing moral support through agreement and reinforcement. Here there is attachment to a lower form of life, but the help goes less to them than to oneself (indirect satisfaction of repressed desires for freedom and immediate joy of life). When Neptune is afflicted, various distortions in the perception of lower life forms are possible, and inappropriate (though often poorly understood why) involvement with such people may create situations very difficult to handle, perhaps even requiring consideration of specific lower programs of the subconscious activated in one’s own. A harmonious Neptune gives a distorted rosy picture of lower life and the person’s role within it, and even minimal successful involvement in its problems will bring the person into an euphoric state, although real results may practically be absent; still, the harmonious biquintile confers a natural grace radiating from the person to lower forms of life, and children and dogs will love him unconditionally.
