Moon quincunx: The people do not possess the language through which their soul could be expressed. This aspect grants in the areas of the Planet a good intuitive understanding of lower forms of life, especially biological needs, if the person desires it. In the harmonious variant, they will skillfully select the landscape, food, lighting, and oxygen levels for aquarium fish, and easily find common ground with a down-and-out alcoholic, sincerely pitying them, and if not guiding them onto the true path (which, of course, is difficult), at least emotionally warming them, feeling thereby Moon-Venus. When the Moon is afflicted, lower forms of life in the Planet’s spheres will constantly irritate the person, who may then vent on them the aggression arising from entirely different causes, for example, from planets forming stressful major aspects to the Moon. In this case, it will be difficult for the person to recognize either the (even potential) spirituality of lower life forms or (especially) the connection between their problems and imperfections and their own, although in this case the analogy may be obvious: overweight owners most often have overweight dogs, and the evolutionary development of a family egregor is easiest to determine by that level. Saturn quincunx: Either the person is ahead of their time, or time is stepping on them with its gray foot. This aspect gives a subconscious desire to deeply understand the lowest forms of life in the Planet’s spheres and to take meaningful part in them, through which the person may express their humanism. However, initially, especially when Saturn is afflicted, the person perceives lower life very primitively, and connects with it extremely awkwardly, which may create an inferiority complex or, conversely, trigger and activate sadistic tendencies from the depths of the subconscious. In areas of the inner world that respond to the problems of lower life, the person will feel vulnerable, and it is good if they extend this feeling of vulnerability to the lowest forms of life as well. Generally speaking, it is inherent in them at first, but over the course of life it may be repressed into the subconscious, and then compassion often turns into pronounced cruelty, which, however, in this case is rather an exception than the rule. Here, working through occurs via deep study of lower life forms and careful, unhurried search for adequate contact and interaction with them; temptations will be frustrations related to the slowness of this process, overly rigid and primitive notions about life and oneself, and external behavioral cruelty, which should gradually give way to gentle, though restrained, human expressions; at a high level, wisdom and profound human self-expression are achieved.
