This is the generation of 1945–1946. Here Chiron is located in its diurnal domicile together with Venus, in the sign of Saturn’s exaltation, within the airy element. Chiron is the key planet of Libra. You are given the understanding of opposites in their unity, solidarity with the masses. You are characterized by strictness and unusual self-demand: you evaluate yourself from the standpoint of the majority. Your typical professions: lawyer, journalist, communication specialist. You possess great sociability, get along well with everyone, and easily find an individual approach to each person. You have excellent diplomatic abilities, superb arbitration skills, alternative thinking, peacemaking qualities, and the ability to keep the entire world in balance. You have a thirst for justice, and with well-placed Saturn and Mars, the ability to achieve it. In the worst case, your character may display imbalance and fluctuation, indecisiveness and uncertainty. In such cases, you may lack inner backbone and discipline. Due to the absence of a unifying goal, you yourself may not know what you want. The more peaceful the period you live in, the stronger your desire to destroy everything out of a sense of protest. From such a person, a spiteful nature with behavioral distortions may develop. Sometimes you may show a tendency to sit on two chairs. Duality in you may lead to betraying both yourself and others. In mature age, you should develop the stabilizing functions of planets such as Venus and evolutionary Saturn, which provide Libra with a backbone. After that, if possible—for instance, if you have the capacity for transformation—you need to cultivate the best qualities of Chiron.

Chaotic Libra. Chiron seeks to expand Libra’s consciousness, and therefore they often find themselves in situations where their standard evaluations and behavioral patterns cease to work; Libra must understand something new, look at things in a non-standard way, unlike what is conventionally accepted, in order to balance the situation and prevent it from descending into complete chaos, when the threads holding the scales of Libra snap and moral, ethical, and sometimes even aesthetic criteria are lost. Libra suffers especially when the ethics and aesthetics of their social circle change (and Chiron is capable of provoking exactly this), causing the ground to literally slip from under their feet. Chiron’s lessons are entirely material, but he demands conclusions and expansion of consciousness at the very limits of Libra’s capabilities. Working through this aspect provides the key to understanding the law of karma as a real force actually governing the evolution of the world, including the material world, as well as the possibility of understanding the interaction between the material and subtle realms, and studying the boundaries and expanding the potential of the human world into the Cosmos and karma (building new structures within the egregore). Yet, since Chiron is in many ways opposite to Saturn, he makes Libra overly frivolous: expansion of consciousness must be accompanied by careful efforts to find new balance, seeing the situation with different eyes.
