Venus Square Neptune Transit
(Transit Venus → Natal Neptune)
Various sources for the child’s horoscope
Your child is very active, dreamy, and especially sensitive. People like this are said to be living in the clouds. They can be overly trusting and fail to understand others. Easily hurt without reason, they are easily wounded by the coldness of loved ones. They have an extraordinary receptivity to beauty and a strong attraction to the “refined” arts. Possible subconscious emotional issues, self-doubt, and retreat into a world of fantasy to escape harsh reality. Parents should protect such a child from narcotic substances, to which they are extremely sensitive.
Het Monster. Aspects
Emotional and sexual issues are often tied to negative childhood experiences. Retreating into a world of fantasy, away from harsh reality; often leading to drugs or alcoholism. Risk of scandals due to questionable relationships and financial complications. Secret sexual orgies, sometimes homosexuality. In a positive sense, artistic talents may emerge. With a weak Saturn, there may be a lack of discipline needed for practical application of abilities. Often, they are vulnerable and lazy. They easily fall for dubious schemes to make quick money, so caution in love and finances is essential.

Opposition, square: a person feels ordinary, everyday love as unacceptable; they are drawn to something impossible, distant, or convoluted. They often make mistakes in their choices and end up in extraordinary situations, sometimes becoming victims. Their pursuit of an ideal or absolute does not align with reality, and they seek in the wrong places, attaching themselves to those who are not suitable for them. Through these aspects, emotions can be sublimated into religious or artistic aspirations, at least stimulating greater creative activity.
Avessalom Podvodny. Aspects
Venus Square: Relationships between people are rarely human. The Venus square creates difficulties for the individual in areas governed by the planet, particularly in social interactions where they often encounter rudeness, poor understanding, and inadequacy in their own behavior within society. The person is drawn to love, understanding, and deep involvement in social life, yet they are capricious, intolerant, and often misunderstand much. Most importantly, they do not feel genuine connection in relationships, and their affairs often end in bitter disappointment. Generally, karmic programs symbolized by the square often begin quite favorably and even promisingly, resembling a trine, but as the person becomes emotionally, mentally, and existentially engaged, they begin to feel resistance, burden, and the need for hard work. Even a Sun-Mars square may manifest initially as a harsh blow of fate, as attractive adventures, but Venus squares typically begin with bright moments of emotional involvement; to which (even without a Venus square) one should always be cautious and attentive. At a low level, the Venus square manifests as disharmonious social egoism and, at the same time, self-sacrifice. In other words, if a person has weak energy, society does not accept them and they surrender themselves without relief; if the person has sufficient strength, they distort the lives of others, clumsily trying to use them for selfish purposes, causing harm to others without improving their own situation (beyond fleeting moments followed by disappointment). In the areas influenced by the planet, the individual will have very peculiar and sharp aesthetic preferences (sometimes crude), which are difficult to satisfy, leading to capriciousness at a low level, but at a high level, an original creative style in art. Generally, the Venus square creates significant challenges on the path to art (but also a strong need for it), including poor teachers or difficult relationships with them. If they succeed, the person will grow primarily through inner effort and self-education, always feeling a deep connection to true art (just as a Mercury square creates irrepressible doubts: “Are my thoughts truly intelligent?” even when recognized by others). This is unpleasant but prevents the person from settling for mediocrity—a trait characteristic of the square. Neptune Square: A great deal of inner honesty is required to recognize its absence. This is one of the most difficult aspects. The Neptune square distorts meditations, often of a lower order, creating an inexplicable attraction to the planetary principle while simultaneously fostering a poor or false understanding of it, illusions, and errors that the person finds hard to believe and even harder to let go of. Neptune deceives the person, who then deceives the world and themselves, only to later see part of this deception and stop believing—if only temporarily—in anything, including themselves, before once again deceiving themselves and the world, which in turn deceives them. This can lead to despair, vice, or, conversely, awaken a higher calling and draw the person toward God. The outcome is difficult to predict, but in any case, the person must remain vigilant and never consider any achieved level as final. At a lower level, the individual may indulge in base meditations (such as alcohol, drugs, or family scandals), and re-education will not be easy. The Neptune-Saturn square can create a perverse enjoyment of one’s own inability to act, leading the person to live in a cycle: brief concentrated effort ending in failure—prolonged meditation on their own worthlessness, with masochistic undertones, likely dragging others into this cycle. (Generally, squares involving higher planets are aspects of dark teachers, especially in mystical or psychological contexts). Karmically, this aspect signifies the need to work through themes of self-deception and lower meditations (“vices”) based on the planetary principle, the activation of which makes the corresponding subconscious programs highly pronounced. This work is challenging and requires abandoning all lower meditations (including sweet self-accusations) and engaging in consistent, honest, constructive work in the areas related to the planet. Incorporating Pluto and, to some extent, working with Saturn can help. At a high level, the person may grasp the subtlest manifestations of the planetary principle and its connection to the principle of cosmic love as it manifests in external reality and the souls of specific people. This can make them a mystic, preacher, or saint, though they may never fully free themselves from irrational feelings of guilt toward the world in the areas governed by the planet.
Frances Sakoian. Aspects
Emotional issues tied to the subconscious and imagination. An emotional and sexual problem stemming from past experiences lodged in the subconscious. This is a karmic aspect. Escaping into a world of fantasy from harsh reality, sometimes leading to drugs or alcoholism. Love is given foolishly, with dangers of scandals due to questionable relationships and financial complications. Sex becomes a source of attacks. Marital happiness suffers from dishonesty and insincerity. The power of imagination can generate sexual visions that ignite passion, leading to emotional complexes. Often, shyness, restraint, yet a tendency toward secret romances. Secret sexual orgies, sometimes homosexuality. In a positive manifestation, artistic abilities and aesthetic perception emerge, especially with Saturn strongly placed—otherwise, a lack of discipline hinders practical application of these talents. Frequently, hypersensitivity and vulnerability without cause, laziness, and a tendency to be taken advantage of, often evoking pity. Easily lured into dubious schemes for quick profit, requiring caution in finances and love. Sometimes, great idealists pursue impossible connections. Beware of cult-like, unrealistic forms and religious delusions.
S.V. Shestopalov. Aspects of Planets
Unhealthy fantasy, wishful thinking, empty daydreaming, utopianism, vagueness, unclear sensations and feelings, self-deception, illusions, disappointments, weak will, indulging one’s emotions, a desire to drift with the current, unstable ideals. The positive side is that a sense of dissatisfaction can drive spiritual growth and a pursuit of beauty.
