Moon quincunx: What prevents a person from sensing God through the senses? Atheism. This individual will find it difficult to understand certain inner feelings, emotions, and physical states within the areas of the Planet. The Cosmos grants him the ability to emotionally and physically sense its vibrations in these areas, but this requires a certain tuning and inner purity—specifically, of the physical and astral bodies. At a low level, this may manifest as ordinary earthly circumstances in the Planet’s spheres barely affecting the person emotionally, which may disturb him, as he may consider himself abnormal or deprived by fate. Yet attempts to experience the same emotions as others will end in failure and collapse. The proper approach, on the contrary, lies in eliminating coarse emotions and physical excesses within the Planet’s spheres and carefully attuning to (the only ones truly satisfying for the individual) cosmic vibrations, subjectively perceived as superhuman, abstract, etc. For example, a Moon-Venus quincunx produces a person for whom ordinary social and sexual relationships will not bring deep satisfaction—they will merely skim the surface of his feelings, and this is as it should be: in social interaction (and especially in love) he is tuned to subtle cosmic vibrations, and all his attempts to be “like everyone else” and profane these higher vibrations will result in inner nausea, despair, sorrow, and protest—understanding the true causes of which will be quite difficult for the person. Working through the Moon quincunx leads to a subtle, instinctive attunement to cosmic radiations within the Planet’s spheres (a cosmic medium)—an individual who can give much to others, provided he inwardly, subconsciously, accepts cosmic ethics in these areas; however, this always entails enormous sacrifices from the ego. Uranus quincunx: Science, being unable to disprove the Divine Being, with complete certainty establishes the presence of the Devil, being in fact its own treacherous trap. This aspect brings cosmic revelations within the Planet’s spheres, which an unprepared person will perceive as utterly insane, since to even begin understanding them, one must adopt a cosmic viewpoint and then interpret them in relation to earthly conditions over a long period. When this aspect becomes actively engaged, it is dangerous for the individual, and sometimes—especially with a well-aspected Uranus—for those around him, as it provides a direct transmission of cosmic karma to an unprepared or poorly prepared earthly consciousness. If Uranus is afflicted, mental disorders may occur, related to the psyche’s difficulty adapting to cosmic vibrations; the resolution here proceeds through recognizing the limitations of one’s earthly ethics and developing a cosmic perspective on the Planet’s spheres, after which the person proves capable of resolving, with the help of the Cosmos, the most difficult earthly karmic knots and creating new channels of cooperation with extraterrestrial egregores. For example, a well-integrated Jupiter-Uranus quincunx may produce a cosmic philosopher with unexpected revelations concerning the structure of the Universe and world karma. At a low level, this aspect may generate eccentric, wild, or insane ideas parodying cosmic philosophy, incomprehensible to anyone (including the person himself); at best, he will ignore them, at worst—he will insist on them, particularly by overturning the authority of the classics, yet inevitably failing when attempting to substantiate, for example, a selenocentric worldview.
