Quincunx Mercury: Every word has its true meaning. This aspect gives a cosmic direction to thoughts in the spheres of the planet, but it does not only mean an interest in science fiction, but also certain difficulties in earthly ways of comprehension, which can cause a person a lot of minor troubles, since the usual, socially accepted way of thinking will seem to them boring, insufficient, and unsatisfactory. Their own thoughts and reflections may seem to the person objective and witty, sometimes even an unconditional universal truth, but in reality they will most often turn out to be an eclectic mix of weak earthly reasoning with unassimilated cosmic understanding, from which it will be quite difficult to extract rational or healthy mystical grains. During moments of strong activation of the quincunx, a person will feel an inhuman flow of their thoughts and may be frightened by them or, on the contrary, welcome them, depending on the major aspects of the quincunx and the horoscope as a whole. However, it will not be easy for a person to get used to the cosmic nature of their thoughts and to correlate them constructively with earthly circumstances. In case of defeat of Mercury (and the chart as a whole) for this reason, even a split personality, delusions of cosmic grandeur or persecution, etc., are possible. Working through this requires, first of all, abandoning anthropocentric and geocentric views on the spheres of the planet and developing a cosmic ethics within them, and secondly, carefully aligning cosmic accentuated thinking with earthly problems, which will also not be an easy task, but as a result will give extraordinary creative abilities and a cosmic orientation.

Quincunx Neptune: It is not necessary to be good: it is enough to be honest and attentive. This aspect gives a cosmic love influence in the spheres of the planet, which a person at a low level often perceives negatively. Modern civilization is such that even earthly forces pushing a person toward evolutionary development are perceived by them mainly as evil, and conscious spiritual development is often pursued by people who have hit a dead end in all other directions. Therefore, the high vibrations of the Cosmos in the spheres of the planet mean for a person either incomprehensible changes in consciousness (transcendent meditations) or such life turns that “you can’t make sense of them without half a liter.” However, the latter will lower the level of cosmic meditation to earthly, understandable, and even almost ecstatic. In case of defeat of Neptune in the spheres of the planet, irrational feelings of cosmic guilt are possible, usually repressed, and internal conflict due to the discrepancy between ideas about cosmic and earthly grace, mercy, and compassion, since the Cosmos is more interested in the evolution of the spirit, while people are mainly limited to the physical, etheric, and astral body, and the laws of karma are completely ignored. To overcome the contradiction between earthly and cosmic Neptunian influences, a person must learn to see karma, take a cosmic point of view, and only then try to align earthly karma with higher influences. For this, in the spheres of the planet, they must first of all get rid of constant minor lies and self-deception, which mask themselves as safe. Cosmic love does not so much alleviate suffering as shorten it, directing it along more constructive paths for the person.
