Venus quincunx: A good artist strives to convey divine love to people, a bad one — to himself. This aspect produces a significantly more painful sense, compared to the semi-sextile, of the difference between social and generally earthly ethics and aesthetics versus cosmic ones, while both will be represented in the person’s subconscious within the spheres of the Planet as if independently, and their karmic task will be to reconcile them, for which the person must learn to renounce the Planet’s sphere from a cosmic perspective and only then judge earthly matters. At a low level, the person lacks the strength and wisdom for this, and their ethics and aesthetics display a peculiar mixture of earthly and cosmic elements, which they themselves cannot sort out, sometimes causing partial confusion. At a medium level, however, strong inner conflicts are possible, since earthly bumps turn out to be avoidable only by using jabs from cosmic ski poles, which may seem to the person insufficiently correct or even impossible from the standpoint of social ethics, whose boundaries already appear clearly restrictive, yet abandoning it remains difficult and unsettling. For example, the Venus-Mars quincunx will bring specific social problems related to aggression: external, internal, and also hidden, and the person will encounter situations where, according to earthly ethics, one must resist evil with force, but not with the force they possess, rather with a much higher vibrational level, which they will need to develop throughout life. Mars quincunx: The power of evil is obvious; the power of good can be judged by the indirect sign that evil has not yet definitively triumphed. This aspect creates in the Planet’s spheres the problem of interaction between energy on earthly and cosmic vibrations; at a low level, the person will often lack earthly forms of energy, while cosmic energy is poorly mastered, resulting in certain breakdowns. For example, Mars-Moon quincunx may give the talent of a healer masked by abilities in ordinary linear massage, which, however, the person will perform somewhat unusually—particularly, their hands in critical situations will move almost by themselves, provided they can learn to trust them. The latter, however, is not at all simple, since the subconscious (personal and collective) usually does not trust intuition, let alone movements involving unusual energetic vibrations. Mars quincunx poses in the Planet’s spheres the problem of the level of active energy, meaning, in particular, the necessity of precisely choosing its forms and no less precise control over one’s inner energetics, since the quincunx emphasizes the cosmic unacceptability of coarse emotional states and mere instinctual energetic expressions. For example, with Venus-Mars quincunx, relatively crude but socially entirely adequate expressions of love will appear absolutely unacceptable to the person from a cosmic perspective, about which the Cosmos will inform them sometimes in rather peculiar ways, but one way or another, the person will eventually become convinced that in love they must be very, very cautious, and celebrated, yet not overly cautious, and celebrated. In processing, which primarily requires viewing the beloved as a spiritual being, the person will prove capable of very intimate, subtle, and deep relationships and interactions.
