Lilith in Cancer

Lilith in Cancer

Pavlo Globa. Planets in the Zodiac Signs

Lilith in Cancer is located in the domicile of the Moon, in the sign of exaltation of Jupiter and Selena. This is a very difficult placement, as in past lives some crime was committed against the family or traditions—possible betrayal or desecration, offense toward parents. Therefore, there may be a family curse—”Ancestral Karma.” The curse can manifest through heredity, through genetic information. On the first level, due to transgressions against parents or ancestors in a past life, in this life the person, through forgetting their roots, becomes a parasite and outcast. Even if external success is achieved due to a favorable horoscope, baseness and selfishness will develop in the nature, further intensifying dark karma. There may be painful compulsions, desecration of traditions or family, betrayal of the homeland. Betrayal by close people is possible. One should avoid secret compulsions, not give in to hidden vices. On the second level, or the “middle” path, the walls of one’s own home press upon the person, family members and household inflict blows. Misfortunes may come through parents; parents become enemies, tormenting the individual. From this may arise vagrancy, homelessness, hence insecurity, distrust, sometimes fears, persecution mania, an acute Oedipus complex, homosexuality. All vicious inclinations must be burned out with a red-hot iron—reach the roots, the sources and causes of such states, cleanse everything thoroughly—then the sins will be worked off. Sometimes the person again experiences ancestral curse, but this should be accepted as atonement for sins from a past life. There may be bad relationships with one’s family, lack of recognition in the homeland, persecution. This is one of the indicators of forced emigration, when the person is cast out from their native home, their native country. Here, the individual must go through this without becoming embittered—this is their life’s due. Fear of drowning or fear of poisoning may develop. Indeed, danger threatens from water, ranging from periodic floods in the home to poisoning by liquids and drowning. The commandment: return to your roots, spend more time with family, honor and respect elders. Upon transitioning to the third level, one gains insight into situations involving pollution and desecration of traditions; you can immediately recognize traitors, desecrators of traditions. Extreme attentiveness to relationships with parents, with the homeland, with occult sources arises. There emerges a desire to choose pure sources of tradition, the ability to distinguish corrupted teachings from pure occult tradition, a deep sensitivity to these differences.

Larisa Nazarova. Karmic Astrology.

The person accumulated karma by being a traitor and a coward who trembled for his own skin. He was a desecrator of traditions, an offender of parents, a betrayer of the mother, of ancestors—a true Judas who betrayed the Divine Mother. He was dragged into the abyss by ancestral karma, by curses. Of course, not all betrayers have Lilith in Cancer, but in such cases one should fear betrayal by close people, fear secret compulsions, and not indulge hidden vices. Danger from water, poisoning by liquids, drowning.

L. Nevidomska, Ye. Demyanova. The Lunar Nodes and the Moon

You are karmically forbidden to show disrespect toward ancestors, to desecrate traditions, or to nurture secret vices. Your task is to learn to flawlessly distinguish between darkness and light; you must do everything in your power to support pure sources and block the way to everything dark, murky, and unclean. You will have to make a difficult choice: either receive benefits from dark forces—until the hour of reckoning arrives—or serve the Light, strengthening cultural, family, national, and religious traditions, thereby paving your path to spiritual harmony. Keep in mind: for a person with Lilith in Cancer, the walls of home rarely provide help—in fact, they may become your prison. Success is more easily achieved abroad. Oscar Wilde, October 16, 1854, Black Moon in Cancer.

Galina Volzhina. The Black Moon in the Zodiac Signs

The Black Moon generates astral whirlpools that provoke strong emotions and desires, hindering consciousness from controlling their influence. The Black Moon sharply accentuates one of the polar components of the sign, thereby activating its involutionary properties, causing it to dominate the other component. This not only intensifies extremes in the sign’s expression but also distorts its primary qualities. Under the influence of the Black Moon, it is impossible to balance the opposing traits of the sign—the individual alternates between each pole, falling from one extreme to another. If the Black Moon strengthens the main pole of the sign (in masculine signs—the active, in feminine signs—the passive), this leads to excess, overexpression of the sign’s qualities. If the Black Moon suppresses the main pole and activates the hidden one (in masculine signs—the passive, in feminine signs—the active), this in itself is a distortion of the sign’s primary zodiacal qualities, as if turning their natural expressions inside out. In both cases, the Black Moon intensifies the involutionary manifestations of the sign. Cancer symbolizes motherhood, homeland, ancestral traditions, the parental home, family. It is associated with hereditary tendencies, unconscious beliefs, childhood impressions. Its qualities are rooting, deepening, sensitivity, and introversion. The Black Moon in Cancer indicates the hereditary nature of the distortions it produces, their deep rooting in the subconscious. It burdens ancestral karma, complicates relationships with parents, and introduces unexpected and often tragic circumstances into family life. If the Black Moon activates the active component of the sign, all the person’s thoughts and relationships are centered on domestic duties and raising children. But under the influence of the Black Moon, care for children becomes excessive, obsessive. Sometimes the person seeks to fulfill ambitions related to a craving for power within family life. He desires to become the head of the family, subjugate all members, and enjoys the power attained. He is conservative, aggressively defends ancestral traditions, stubbornly stands by his mistakes, refusing to admit wrongdoing. Occasionally, the Black Moon in Cancer indicates service to the homeland or involvement in national history. If the Black Moon affects the passive component of the sign, all family matters and duties become burdensome; the person tries to evade them, but this rarely succeeds. The Black Moon makes emotional life unstable; from an early age, obsessive fears, phobias, and unpleasant premonitions haunt the individual, who struggles to adapt to new conditions. In childhood, psychological trauma is often experienced, leaving a lifelong imprint. The Black Moon sharply intensifies Cancer’s inherent tearfulness, sensitivity, and vindictiveness. It promotes increased appetite, passion for refined food, and may cause stomach illnesses. Under the Black Moon’s influence, the person becomes weak-willed, indecisive, lazy, requiring long hesitation before starting any action, and sometimes never begins or fails to complete tasks with practical results. Disorganization, scatter, and lack of discipline are intensified. Thinking is overly susceptible to emotional influence and highly subjective; the person easily falls under subconscious influence and suggestion. The Black Moon distorts perceptions of motherhood. It causes aversion toward children, unwillingness or inability to have them. Often, people with the Black Moon in Cancer feel no affinity toward their roots, disregard family traditions, and desire emigration.

S.V. Yevtushenko “Grotesque Manifestations of Lilith”

Indulging in one’s own emotional preferences and experiences. “They tore the bear’s paw off, but I still won’t abandon him because he’s good.” A claim to exceptional personal relationships and unique domestic living conditions. A desire to play with nuances of emotional experiences. Prolonged rumination over past events. Long-lasting memories tied to specific emotional states. A tendency to constantly provoke others into openness. Maintaining long-term relationships if they were strongly colored by emotional intensity—both positive and negative. Difficult acceptance of the loss of such relationships. The person plays the role of a weak, humiliated, and beaten creature who is simply incapable of achieving anything independently without outside help. Or a desire to make others feel humiliated and offended.

Excessive fears, emotional fluctuations, distrust—and rich imagination, as well as deep insight.
