Pluto in Capricorn
Pavlo Hloba. Planets in the Zodiac Signs
This is the generation born 1762–1777, 2011–2021 (Pluto remains in Capricorn for 15 years). Here, Pluto is in the domicile of Uranus and Saturn, in the sign of Mars’ exaltation, within the Earth element. This placement brings discipline, asceticism, and conservatism. During this time, new political and economic power structures are formed. After the American struggle for independence in 1763, a state with an ambiguous structure emerges—democratic on the surface, yet in reality governed by a secret hierarchy with absolute control and subordination. In Russia, under Catherine II, a new social hierarchy was also established (“from head to foot”). A new demand arises: from each according to their abilities and talents. Maximum interest in the individual emerges. This era produces brilliant individualities—highly purposeful and ascetic. It is a difficult period for the corrupt and idle. Upon Pluto’s secondary ingress into Capricorn, a World Government will be established on astrological principles, oriented toward the primary interests of all humanity. New legal religious and educational concepts will emerge. This will be a period of material abundance, on the eve of a “golden century.” In the worst case, it will bring the flourishing of secret inhumane organizations, despotism, and greed.

Upon entering Capricorn, Pluto continues the work begun in Sagittarius; having prepared the ideological ground and transformed higher ideals, it now reshapes the external forms of human interaction accordingly. This generation embodies in life the changes in egregores (collective subconscious) cultivated by the previous one; in the process, certain details are corrected and refined. Overall, this is a more harmonious aspect than Neptune in Capricorn (on the same octave). The forms (and content) of social division of labor change; social relations in the production process are restructured—i.e., the economic formation itself transforms. Political forms of governance may also change, with revolutions occurring under disharmonious conditions. In a personal horoscope, Pluto in Capricorn produces great revolutionaries, financial magnates, innovators in labor organization, and leading reformers of economy and management.
Francesca Sakoyan. Planets in the Zodiac Signs
You were born during the 15-year period (2008–2023) when people were born with a strongly pronounced practical, realistic attitude toward life. You are also ambitious and work persistently toward achievements in business, commerce, and other practical matters. When your generation comes to the forefront, there is a sense that a vast amount of hard work needs to be done—and you are ready and capable of doing it. Your age group is notable for its “maturity and seriousness.” You seem to lack many inner feelings. Most members of your cohort retain little of childhood, and you tend to have a colder, more detached attitude toward life compared to other generations. You are ethical, but lack warmth and heartfelt kindness. Observing many of your peers, one might think they have lost their deeper emotional side. Naturally, it is important not to let this tendency dominate, as it may lead to coarseness, insensitivity in relationships, and a predisposition toward immoral, unethical pursuits.
