Mars semisquare: The sledgehammer of bureaucratic ideology does not so much shatter as it compacts subversive thoughts of citizens. In the areas ruled by the Planet, the individual has limited means for expressing their activity, although this is not immediately obvious. If one manages to find a combination of these means convenient for one’s purposes, the effect can be excellent; more often, however, the person will feel a certain discomfort, the causes of which remain a complete mystery to them at low and medium levels of processing. For example, the Mercury-Mars semisquare produces poor motor coordination, yet some individual movements may be perfect, and with effort, by combining them, a person might even achieve success in certain sports, although becoming a champion with this aspect is difficult. A person with an unprocessed Moon-Mars square will be crude in personal perception and expression, sensitive, harsh, and generally quite difficult to deal with, as long as they demand that external reality adapt to them; whereas when they set themselves the goal of serving reality, gradually they will gain broad channels for self-expression and constructive activity, although initially they will, of course, be awkward—yet sincerity and selflessness will greatly mitigate this. At a low level, especially with good energetic activation, the person will tend to subjugate the world in the Planet’s domains to their (perfectly certain) ideas about how these domains should be, and resistance to this can be very difficult. For example, the Mars-Mercury semisquare (especially if harmonious) gives great cunning and agility, which at first glance may appear as wisdom or intelligence. Neptune semisquare: The sleeping princess needs no proof of the existence of witches. This is a dangerous aspect, because at a low level the person in the Planet’s spheres is constantly under the close attention of rigid egregores and lower astral entities; if Neptune is afflicted, enchantments, bindings, and other manipulations are possible, as well as artificial restrictions on the mobility of the astral body, which in ordinary language means emotional inhibition, limitation of the range of emotional and essential understanding, and a rigid fixation on those phenomena and moments accessible to the person. If these relate to socially accepted and normalized areas (a harmonious Planet), people will describe such an individual as “a bit strange,” “eccentric,” etc.; but if the person focuses on socially unaccepted phenomena, typical when the Planet is afflicted, they may progress quite far in their meditations and perceive things inaccessible to others (perceive things inaccessible to others). They will lack an adequate language, but these experiences will largely capture their attention and may not release them back into the world of ordinary perceptions—externally, this appears as mental abnormality, and doctors treat such individuals with great difficulty using psychotropic drugs, being unable to help them understand the nature of subtle realms and the entities inhabiting them. Satisfactory and vivid flow of their meditations, in this case, will not lead to success;
