Mars sesquiquadrate: The chisel of official ideology does not so much shatter as it compacts subversive thoughts of citizens. In the areas ruled by the Planet, the individual has limited means for expressing their activity, although this is not immediately obvious. If one manages to find a combination of these means convenient for one’s purposes, the effect can be excellent; more often, however, the person will feel a certain discomfort, the causes of which remain a complete mystery to them at low and medium levels of processing. For example, the Mercury-Mars sesquiquadrate results in poor motor coordination, yet some individual movements may be perfect, and with effort, by combining them, the person might even achieve success in certain sports, although becoming a champion with this aspect is difficult. A person with an unprocessed Moon-Mars square will be crude in personal perception and expression, sensitive, harsh, and generally difficult to deal with, as long as they demand that external reality adapt to them; whereas once they set themselves the goal of serving reality, they gradually gain broad channels for self-expression and constructive activity, although initially they will, of course, be awkward—though sincerity and selflessness greatly mitigate this. At a low level, especially with strong energetic activation, the individual tends to subjugate the world in the planet’s spheres to their (perfectly certain) ideas about how these spheres should be, and resisting this can be very difficult. For instance, the Mars-Mercury sesquiquadrate (especially if well-aspected) imparts great cunning and agility, which at first glance may appear as wisdom or intelligence. Chiron’s semisquare: When diving into the unknown, wear an aqualung. This aspect bestows in the planet’s spheres a rough sense of humor and confidence in the non-standard and original nature of one’s approaches, as well as the ability to find a way out of any dead end. In reality, unfortunately, this is not always the case, and a clever or amusing invention often turns out to be shallow and ineffective, but at a low level the person ignores this or considers it accidental. Chiron remains true to himself: here he offers structures and methods that must be deciphered by viewing them from an unconventional and barely conceivable perspective, which in this case means (among other things) from the viewpoint of another person or an egregore, and until the individual does so, in the planet’s spheres (especially if Chiron is afflicted) they will constantly encounter blind spots in development, along with associated viewpoints of the person, acquaintances, trusted and effective methods, which in reality turn out to be quite different—but one must know how to see this. Harmonious Chiron and the Planet will greatly soften the negative effects of the sesquiquadrate, and the methods the person employs in the planet’s sphere will appear clever and constructive, yet still, without processing and attention fundamentally directed toward other people, they will possess significant hidden flaws that will inevitably manifest at critical moments.
