Uranus-Square Neptune
(Transit Uranus → Natal Neptune)
Avelom Podvodny. Aspects
Semi-square of Uranus: Real difficulties begin when a person stops accommodating their own concept. At a high level of integration, this aspect grants ingenuity in assembling structures from ready-made blocks within the sphere of the Planet, where the person will receive the most unexpected and sometimes brilliant ideas, but ultimately the house they design and build will be comfortable and cozy only for other people—if the individual carefully takes their wishes into account, and from their own point of view, the house will still seem lifeless, albeit original in construction. For example, a person with a semi-square Moon-Uranus and Uranus in the sixth house might devise an excellent system of physical exercises or techniques for self-control, relaxation, etc., which will produce only an external, superficial effect for themselves, yet prove highly effective and meaningful for others, and it is precisely for them that they should orient this system. At a low level, this aspect brings rigidity and capriciousness within the Planet’s spheres—capricious demands the person cannot explain but considers mandatory, often hurting both others and themselves. Such signs should be noted, but interpreting them correctly will be difficult; there is a particular danger of dogmatic and straightforward interpretations, especially when the semi-square is afflicted, potentially escalating into obsession. Semi-square of Neptune: The sleeping princess needs no proof of witches’ existence. This is a dangerous aspect, because at a low level the person, within the Planet’s spheres, remains constantly under the close attention of rigid egregores and lower astral entities; if Neptune is afflicted, enchantments, bindings, and artificial restrictions on the mobility of the astral body become possible, which in ordinary language translates to emotional stiffness, limited range of emotional and essential understanding, and rigid fixation on those phenomena and moments accessible to the person. If these relate to socially accepted and normalized areas (a harmonious Planet), people will describe such an individual as “a bit odd!” or “eccentric,” etc. But if the person focuses on socially unaccepted phenomena—typical when the Planet is afflicted—they may progress quite far in their meditations and perceive things inaccessible to others (to see things inaccessible to others). They will lack an adequate language, but these experiences will largely dominate their attention and may prevent them from returning to the world of ordinary perceptions—externally, this appears as mental abnormality, and doctors struggle to treat such individuals with psychotropic medications, unable to help them understand the nature of subtle realms and the entities inhabiting them. Satisfactory and vital meditation practices, in this case, will not lead to success;
