Decile of the Moon: People should be fed with food that suits them, not with raw meat of their own. In the spheres governed by the Planet, a person acutely feels inhuman treatment toward themselves only at the level of unmet needs, and if the Moon is afflicted, these needs may be severely distorted. On the other hand, the simultaneous activation of the Planet’s and the Moon’s principles—such as thoughts about one’s people, mother, or lack of sustenance in connection with the Planet’s spheres—evokes an instinctive surge of humanistic feelings, which are most naturally expressed in care, especially for urgent needs. For example, a decile between the Moon and Venus, if not severely afflicted, grants exceptional softness and tenderness in love, a desire to protect, warm, and sympathetically pity the beloved. However, a lack of comfort may be perceived by this person as an inhuman manifestation of fate or the partner. It should also be kept in mind that a decile, as a minor aspect, always signifies only an indirect connection between planetary principles, and a person with a Moon–Venus decile will not be vitally dependent on domestic discomforts (though they may consider them inhuman), unlike a person with a square between the Moon and Venus.
Decile of Mars: The force of humanism spoils the appetite of a cannibal. This aspect (in theory) ennobles the Planet, directing a person’s activity in its spheres toward humanistic goals—at least, they will have corresponding impulses, though not imperative ones. This aspect grants sensitivity in the Planet’s spheres to any external aggression, which the person perceives as inhuman, and this also applies to their own aggression (in the Planet’s spheres)—either it becomes impossible for them, or it leads to severe pangs of conscience (if it occurs). An afflicted Mars may produce great activity in the Planet’s spheres aimed at supporting and aiding others, but implemented clumsily and carelessly, leading to sharp negative consequences (people repay this person’s misplaced and awkward “goodwill” with outright evil, ingratitude, and hostility). A harmonious Mars with an afflicted Planet will provide an intuitively correct direction for humanistic activity (one’s own or others’—for oneself), but objectively, there will be great difficulties in its implementation. If the decile is harmonious, despite good intentions, the person will find it very difficult to overcome their laziness and actually do something humanistic in the Planet’s spheres, even though they will receive strong human support there. It is very important for them to cultivate (initially absent) a sense of gratitude toward their fate.
