Moon’s Decile: People should be fed with food suitable for them, not with one’s own raw flesh. In the areas ruled by the Planet, the individual acutely feels inhumane treatment only at the level of unmet needs, and after Moon’s defeats these may be greatly distorted. On the other hand, the simultaneous activation of the Planet’s and Moon’s principles—for instance, thoughts about one’s nation, mother, or lack of nourishment in connection with the Planet’s spheres—triggers in the person an instinctive surge of humanistic feelings, most naturally expressed through care, especially for urgent needs. For example, the Moon-Venus decile, if not severely afflicted, grants extraordinary tenderness and gentleness in love, a desire to protect, warm, and compassionately sympathize with the beloved, while lack of comfort may be perceived by such a person as an inhumane act of fate or of the partner personally. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that the decile, as a minor aspect, always indicates only an indirect dependency between planetary principles, and a person with a Moon-Venus decile will not be vitally dependent in love on domestic inconveniences (even though they may regard them as inhumane), unlike a person with a Moon square Venus. Uranus’ Decile: When formulating a concept of humanism, one should not outpace one’s time. In the Planet’s spheres, the individual will have extraordinary and often fantastic humanistic ideas, both regarding humanity as a whole and specific individuals. The decile will certainly soften Uranus’ influence, but the recipient of a humanistic act will still need some time to recover, gathering the remnants of their sense of humor and comforting themselves with the thought that the person clearly meant well. The Uranus decile also provides a certain humanism and protection of the individual’s fate in the areas ruled by the Planet, yet again in Uranus’ characteristic style—often at the last moment, or through a strong, energetic impact. Much here depends on the level of Uranus’ integration and on the ability and willingness to read and heed Uranian signs of fate. A brilliant example of skillful interpretation of the signs of the Uranus decile was given by Ilya Muromets, who welcomed visiting disabled beggars who came to him, as a result of which he received heroic strength and accomplished numerous humanistic, by the standards of his time, feats. At a low level, in the Planet’s spheres the individual may be very capricious and sensitive, and may consider entirely innocent behaviors of others toward them as inhumane.
