Moon’s Decile: People should be fed with food suitable for them, not with one’s own raw flesh. In the areas ruled by the Planet, the individual acutely feels inhumane treatment only at the level of unmet needs, and after Moon’s defeats these may be greatly distorted. On the other hand, the simultaneous activation of the principles of the Planet and the Moon—for instance, thoughts about one’s nation, mother, or lack of nourishment in connection with the Planet’s spheres—triggers in the person an instinctive surge of humanitarian feelings, most naturally expressed through care, especially for urgent needs. For example, the Moon-Venus decile, if not heavily afflicted, grants extraordinary tenderness and gentleness in love, a desire to protect, comfort, and compassionately empathize with the beloved, while lack of comfort may be perceived by this person as an inhumane act of fate or of the partner personally. At the same time, it should be noted that the decile, as a minor aspect, always indicates only an indirect dependency between planetary principles; thus, a person with a Moon-Venus decile will not be vitally dependent on domestic discomfort in relationships (even though they may perceive such discomfort as inhumane), unlike a person with a Moon square Venus. Neptune’s Decile: In our time, it is very important to be renowned as humane. This aspect brings, in the areas governed by the Planet, compassion for people (primarily for oneself) and a desire to alleviate their suffering, often at a lower level through deception (“lying for salvation”) and narcotics. The individual, when acting inhumanely in the Planet’s spheres, later experiences strong feelings of guilt and shame, thus striving to avoid such situations even in small matters, or attempting to rationalize and convince themselves that what they did will ultimately benefit someone else; however, when Neptune is activated, logical arguments are of little help. When well-integrated, this aspect grants deep understanding of the humanitarian aspects of the planetary principle and its humane application within the Planet’s spheres of influence; at a high level—religious and mystical insight into the human essence: prophets and religious philosophers of a humanitarian orientation. Generally, this decile provides a gentle protection by fate: when the person’s situation in the Planet’s spheres becomes truly unbearable, they may (consciously or unconsciously) appeal for help, and divine grace will alleviate their suffering. When Neptune is strong, distinguishing humanity in one’s attitude toward others from inhumanity within the Planet’s spheres will not be easy, and the individual must exercise caution.
