Decile of the Moon: People should be fed with food proper to them, not with one’s own raw flesh. In the areas ruled by the Planet, the individual acutely feels inhumane treatment only at the level of unmet needs, and after Moon’s defeats these may be greatly distorted. On the other hand, the simultaneous activation of the principles of the Planet and the Moon—for instance, thoughts about one’s people, mother, or lack of nourishment in connection with the Planet’s spheres—triggers in the person an instinctive surge of humanistic feelings, most naturally expressed through care, especially for urgent needs. For example, the Moon-Venus decile, if not strongly afflicted, brings extraordinary tenderness and gentleness in love, a desire to protect, warm, and compassionately empathize with the beloved, while lack of comfort may be perceived by such a person as an inhumane act of fate or of the partner personally. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that the decile, as a minor aspect, always indicates only an indirect dependency between planetary principles; thus, a person with a Moon-Venus decile will not be vitally dependent in love on domestic inconveniences (even though they may regard them as inhumane), unlike a person with a Moon square Venus. Decile of Mercury: To express concern, one must actually possess it. In the areas ruled by the Planet, the person’s thoughts and especially rational considerations will lean toward humanitarian aspects of the corresponding issues. Verbally, the individual will demand a humane approach and will be deeply offended by what they perceive as harsh remarks from others, interpreting them as inhumane. However, in this case, the connection between the Planet’s principle and Mercurial function is weak; thus, on one hand, negative manifestations related to Mercury (e.g., offensive words) have little direct impact on the areas ruled by the Planet, even though the person may believe otherwise; on the other hand, Mercury’s positive influence on the individual and on human aspects corresponding to the Planet’s domains has only a weak direct effect, although the person may not even notice this. Therefore, they should either aim for subtle results or engage additional planets to avoid, from the standpoint of others, appearing as an empty talker and demagogue who cares for others’ well-being only in words.
