Semi-quintile Moon — Chiron
(Transit. Moon → Natal Chiron)
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Decile of the Moon: People should be fed with food that suits them, not with raw meat of their own. In the spheres governed by the Planet, a person acutely feels inhuman treatment toward themselves only at the level of unmet needs, and if the Moon is afflicted, these needs may be severely distorted. On the other hand, the simultaneous activation of the Planet’s and the Moon’s principles—such as thoughts about one’s people, mother, or lack of sustenance in connection with the Planet’s spheres—evokes an instinctive surge of humanitarian feelings, which are most naturally expressed in care, especially for urgent needs. For example, the decile Moon–Venus, if not heavily afflicted, grants extraordinary softness and tenderness in love, a desire to protect, warm, and sympathetically pity the beloved, but a lack of comfort may be perceived by this person as an inhuman manifestation of fate or the partner. At the same time, it should be kept in mind that the decile, as a minor aspect, always signifies only an indirect connection between planetary principles, and a person with a Moon–Venus decile will not be vitally dependent on domestic inconveniences in love (though they may consider them inhumane), unlike a person with a square between the Moon and Venus. Decile of Chiron: I am searching for my place in the world and constantly freezing in fear—what if it doesn’t suit me? This aspect awakens interest in the Planet’s spheres toward non-standard humanitarian issues that remain unresolved by conventional methods and pose a dead end, surmountable only through an unusual yet practical approach. For example, the Chiron–Moon decile fosters interest in the hidden potentials of the human organism, which are realized not only through the physical body but also through consciousness, emotional, and spiritual reserves. As a minor aspect, the decile does not produce the direct effect of Chiron on the Planet—meaning there will be no specific Chironic dead ends of development or impossible chaos in the corresponding spheres. Nevertheless, while resolving issues related to the Planet’s principle, a person may consider its humanitarian aspects, and then Chiron can provide significant assistance with its unconventional, unexpected, yet fundamentally practical insights—provided one is ready to accept them. At a low level, the influence of the decile manifests in the person occasionally falling into perplexing, incomprehensible, non-standard, or simply ridiculous situations in the Planet’s spheres and perceiving them as deeply inhumane toward themselves, exaggerating their discomfort.
