Semi-quintile Saturn – Chiron
(Transit. Saturn → Natal Chiron)
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Decile of Saturn: The misfortune of people lies not only in the fact that they do not understand their happiness – they also fail to understand each other. The interpretation of the aspect depends on the level of processing of Saturn, the planet, and the horoscope in general. At a low or average level, this aspect brings to the spheres of the planet a kind of specific humanism: a desire to make people happy by maximally restricting their freedom, which (in the person’s opinion) quickly turns into the freedom of evil—both external and internal. This person sees (in the spheres of the planet) the happiness of a person and humanity in order, organization, rigid structure, and routine. With a challenged Saturn, this can take horrifying forms (totalitarianism, bureaucracy), while with a harmonious Saturn, the person, with humanitarian enthusiasm and uplift, may participate, for example, in creating an artificial environment that separates humans from the uncontrollable and anarchic nature—builders of the modern machine civilization. Processing the aspect involves deep study of human nature, primarily as a fact of their inner life, and on this path, one can grasp many profound truths, especially if one begins the study with oneself and the structure of their inner world and subconscious in the spheres governed by the planet. Then the rigidity of humanitarian attitudes will be replaced by their depth; in particular, the person will rid themselves of painful experiences and a sense of vulnerability in the spheres related to the planet (for example, an unprocessed decile Mars–Saturn gives a sense of human weakness and inability to resist aggression, but an acute effort of aggression, or rather, an acute sense of its inhumanity).
Decile of Chiron: I am looking for my place in the world and constantly freeze in fear: what if it doesn’t suit me? This aspect brings to the spheres of the planet an interest in non-standard humanitarian issues that cannot be resolved by known methods and that put the researcher in a dead end, surmountable only by an unusual but real approach. For example, a decile Chiron–Moon gives an interest in the hidden possibilities of the human body, which are realized with the participation not only of the physical body but also of consciousness, emotional, and spiritual reserves of the person. As a minor aspect, the decile does not provide a direct influence of Chiron on the planet, meaning there will be no specific Chironic dead ends of development or impossible chaos in the corresponding spheres in the person. Nevertheless, while solving the problems of processing the planetary principle, the person can consider its humanitarian aspects, and then Chiron can provide great assistance with its non-standard and unexpected, but in principle very practical, views and ideas—one just needs to be ready to accept them. At a low level, the influence of the decile will manifest in the fact that, occasionally falling into dead-end, incomprehensible, non-standard, or simply ridiculous situations in the spheres of the planet, the person will perceive them as very inhumane toward themselves and exaggerate their inconveniences.
