Moon’s Tridecile: Life holds approximately the same significance for this person as landscape does in a novel. The individual will tend to take very personally the developmental issues arising in the areas of the Planet; these will resonate within them as an intimate, warm feeling and a desire to help, with a maternal nuance—such as comforting, warming, feeding, etc. At the same time, the person may be quite selfish, striving to extract the maximum benefit from life for themselves personally, substituting genuine care with preoccupation centered around their own perceptions of others’ needs. A weakened Moon may manifest as considerable capriciousness in such interactions—many aspects of others’ lives may displease the person, who may then attempt to reshape them to fit their own image, all under the guise of sincere concern and support. A well-aspected Moon provides excellent intuitive understanding of life and its challenges in the Planet’s domains, along with the ability to participate appropriately, yet simultaneously may also express a similarly harmonious form of vampirism upon them. Integration leads to a symbiosis—more or less tense, depending on the major aspects of the Moon and the Planet—and enables subtle, profound self-expression through participation in life’s development; in doing so, the individual will feel their truly human essence. Venus’s Tridecile: The life of the social environment rarely possesses an anthropomorphic character. This aspect generates a desire to participate in social moments emerging within the Planet’s spheres. These moments represent opportunities for self-expression; the person senses in them the breath of life that attracts and calls them to contribute their efforts. If the individual encounters love within the Planet’s spheres, they may, provided their behavior is appropriate, greatly enliven it and gain opportunities for deeply human self-expression—though this blends poorly with a primitively understood sexuality. For example, the tridecile Venus-Mars potentially enables strong, humane expressions in love, yet attempts by the individual or their partner to force intense (with animalistic overtones) passions will end in complete failure, even though the beginning of love may promise a very energetic and vivid continuation.
