Moon’s tridecile: Life holds approximately the same significance for this person as landscape does for a novel. The individual will tend to take very personally the developmental issues of life in the areas governed by the Planet; these will resonate within them as an intimate warmth and a desire to help, with a maternal nuance—such as comforting, warming, feeding, and so on. At the same time, the person may be quite selfish, striving to extract the maximum benefit from life for themselves personally, substituting genuine care with fussiness centered around their own perceptions of others’ needs. An afflicted Moon may manifest as considerable capriciousness in such interactions—many aspects of others’ lives may displease the person, who might then attempt to reshape them to fit their own image, all under the guise of sincere concern and assistance. A harmonious Moon provides excellent intuitive understanding of life and its challenges in the Planet’s domains, enabling appropriate involvement, but simultaneously fostering a similarly harmonious form of vampirism upon it. If Jupiter is harmonious, the person will have the opportunity to act in the Planet’s spheres as a benefactor or sponsor, supporting those life manifestations that appeal to them; if Jupiter is afflicted, similar pretensions may arise, or their generosity may bring complications, and the life they sought to help will develop in ways entirely contrary to their wishes, above all without gratitude or recognition of their merits.
