Sextile Neptune: If you can understand – understand, for there will be no other such opportunity. The sextile of Neptune gives a person the ability to truly comprehend the principle of the planet, but it requires certain effort from them—often of a kind they are not prepared for or accustomed to. Neptune distorts reality, both external and internal, and working with the sextile means steering away from crude distortions and illusions that are called deception and self-deception toward the subtle ones; some of these are called art, others meditation, and still others prayer… Thus, the choice offered by the sextile of Neptune often takes the form of a crude temptation; by sincerely rejecting it (which may demand considerable inner effort and processing), a person receives from Neptune a more refined distortion and a subtler temptation, and so on. At some point, the level and manner of perceiving the planetary principle suddenly become such that they may be revelatory for other people—if the person succeeds in conveying their vision to them, which also requires a certain amount of work. At a high level, the sextile of Neptune provides a subtle understanding of the planetary principle and its incorporation into such vibrational energy flows that it creates the impression of revelation or a religious miracle. In this case, the person may be poorly aware of exactly what and why they are doing it in this way, but the feeling of the height of the flow and, at the same time, strong resistance from the material will serve as indirect signs of the achieved perfection. At a low level, the sextile of Neptune offers many opportunities for deception and self-deception, but also a sense of attraction toward the planet, a feeling of ecstasy in mastering its principle. However, this will demand much diligence, especially the cultivation of inner honesty in assessing one’s real achievements. If the planet is afflicted, there may be an avoidance of unpleasantness in the world of illusions, in which Neptune, of course, will assist, but later harsh disappointments or blows of fate will begin. False pity differs from true compassion, which a person clearly feels when it is directed toward them.
Sextile Chiron: Why are a person’s hidden abilities so carefully concealed from them? Out of fear they will be sold into slavery. The sextile of Chiron gives a person the ability to expand the principle of the planet in non-standard and almost implausible ways, but it is often difficult to even guess at this (let alone realize it). The manifestation of this aspect may appear as inexplicable or misunderstood circumstances in the areas governed by the planet; sorting through them requires considerable effort, but the results will yield unexpected understanding or a non-standard perspective on the corresponding situation, which then acquires inner meaning. At a low level, working with the sextile of Chiron provides illusory opportunities for expansion and exits from dead ends in development tied to the planet’s principle, leading to a naive, trusting person who hopes for quick success falling into chaos and inner confusion. Chiron teaches one to work in a non-standard, reliable, practical way, and most importantly, by first resolving inner problems and then outer ones. A person can learn all of this if they can understand that the opportunities offered by the sextile of Chiron require not only honest work but also a non-standard approach, and perhaps even parting with some familiar worldview. Overall, this is a very promising aspect that gives a person the chance to unravel complex and deeply hidden mysteries of their subconscious, illuminate and reliably bring into consciousness programs that seem absolutely unattainable—sometimes leading to a transition to a qualitatively different level in the areas governed by the planet. Working with the sextile provides the ability not only to choose completely original paths for developing the planetary principle oneself but also to offer them to others.
