Jupiter–Neptune Conjunction
(Transit Jupiter conjunct Natal Neptune)
Het Monster. Aspects
Rich imagination in art, philosophy, and religion; abundance of psychic and emotional experiences. Lack of common sense and discipline. In adverse aspects—loss of contact with reality. Promises more than it delivers.

Conjunction: the interaction of a mystical idea with the flourishing of the personality; religious faith is intense yet delicate. Tolerance, humanity, ardor, and generosity. Conviction that defending ideals and striving for higher goals must not disregard the individual but should instead be built upon respect for them. This aspect signifies power: benevolent, merciful, yet still power…
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Jupiter conjunction: Standing on the shoulders of giants, ensure they don’t collapse from the weight. At a low level of processing, the conjunction with Jupiter gives the planet a sharp sense of its own importance. The individual sincerely believes their expressions in the relevant spheres are extraordinarily significant; here, they possess immense opportunities, and everyone, recognizing this, should assist and selflessly serve them. Indeed, this aspect potentially grants great expansion of the planet’s principle and, at times, undeserved happiness (especially with a strong Jupiter), such as high patronage. The danger lies in the individual perceiving these opportunities as given, as if it could not be otherwise, and in the purely egoistic aspect of joyful consumption; the work lies in recognizing responsibility for any Jupiterian gifts and opportunities as group values and in their most effective and creative distribution. A Jupiter conjunction signifies an intense invitation from the egregore, and the individual (karmically) must not only consume the gifts but also enter the egregore and perform necessary work with it (or within it), or else pass the channel to the appropriate person. For example, a Jupiter–Mars conjunction means the individual will have abundant energy from diverse sources, yet also a strong temptation to expend it chaotically, thoughtlessly, and ineffectively—though they may long subconsciously believe any active action of theirs is flawless and brings pure grace. At a high level of processing, this individual opens high-energy and spiritual channels for others (in general, a Jupiter conjunction is the aspect of a preacher).
Neptune conjunction: It is difficult to believe in the immortality of the soul for someone who lacks a soul. In the areas governed by the planet along with Neptune, the individual struggles to concentrate; meditation begins, but (without processing the aspect) it is guided by lower subconscious programs attempting to subordinate all expressions of the planet’s principle to the ego. Neptune creates constant distortions of perception, false positions, and temptations toward conscious and unconscious deception in the relevant spheres, and it is very difficult to free oneself from these influences, as an unprocessed conjunction allows the lower octave of Neptune to deeply and strongly penetrate the planet’s principles. If Neptune is in conjunction with Venus, at a low level of processing the individual will constantly find themselves in false positions, lying in social contacts and love, yet both this and accessible forms of art will be sources of endless pleasure for them; processing yields a true connoisseur of art, perhaps. Far more challenging is processing a Neptune–Saturn conjunction, as the lower octave of Neptune diverts Saturn’s gaze, rendering the individual practically incapable of concentration (lower meditation begins, and attention drifts) and self-deepening, which are necessary for developing discipline and inner honesty. Here, Pluto processing helps (by the way, Pluto has been in sextile to Neptune for the entire second half of the 20th century, promising support), the only planet capable of dispelling Neptune’s illusions and deceptions. At a high level of processing, a conjunction with Neptune grants the individual, in the spheres governed by the planet, a rare ability for true understanding, elevated meditations, and outward actions in which they can express the Ineffable—though not everyone will perceive it.
Frances Sakoian. Aspects
Imagination in art, music, philosophy, and religion; sensitive in psychic and emotional experiences, inclined toward religious ecstasy and mystical immersion, participating in mystical cults. Prone to extreme idealism, lacking common sense and discipline if other aspects do not contradict this. In adverse aspects—loss of contact with reality, retreat into one’s own world and fantasies. Though acting with the best intentions, they are impractical and unreliable, promising more than they deliver.
S.V. Shestopalov. Aspects of Planets
Wisdom, deep understanding, very strong imagination, rich intellect, profound psychological insight; elevated states of consciousness, spiritual interests; high moral and spiritual ideals. Good commercial opportunities, material prosperity, and security. The negative side—sometimes a certain detachment from reality; a tendency to see people better than they are; justifying everyone and everything; an unwillingness to acknowledge the darker, gloomier side. Jupiter in conjunction and tense aspects with Neptune: a strong tendency toward idealization; danger of being deceived; disappointments, losses; possible inclination toward slander, intrigue; immoral behavior, extravagance. The positive side—elevated spiritual aspirations, self-sacrifice, mercy, and compassion.
