Saturn Biquintile Uranus
(Transit Saturn → Natal Uranus)
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Saturn’s biquintile: Either a person is ahead of their time, or time treads upon them with its gray foot. This aspect gives a subconscious desire to deeply understand the lower levels of life in the spheres of the Planet and to take essential part in them, through which the individual may express their humanism. However, initially, especially if Saturn is afflicted, the person perceives lower life in a very primitive way and engages with it extremely awkwardly, which may create a sense of inferiority or, conversely, awaken and activate sadistic tendencies from the depths of the subconscious. In areas of the inner world that resonate with issues of lower life, the person will feel vulnerable, and it is fortunate if they extend this sense of vulnerability to lower life itself. Generally speaking, this sensitivity is inherent at first, but over time it may be repressed into the subconscious, and then compassion often transforms into pronounced cruelty, although in this case such cruelty is more an exception than the rule. The process of integration proceeds through deep study of lower forms of life and careful, unhurried search for adequate contact and interaction with them; temptations will include frustrations due to the slowness of this process, overly rigid and primitive notions about life and oneself, and outwardly cruel behavior, which should gradually give way to gentle, though restrained, human expressions; at a high level, wisdom and profound human self-expression are achieved. Uranus’ biquintile: From a mouse’s point of view, purring is indistinguishable from thunder. This aspect brings great surprises and extravagance in the manifestations both of the person in interactions with lower forms of life and of these life forms themselves, in which contradictions may suddenly intensify and explosions occur, including in relationships with the person. If Uranus is afflicted, establishing a stable constructive contact with lower life will prove practically impossible, although some of the person’s ideas may be potentially very fruitful, and the behavior of life forms and their crises will be highly significant, and if the person learns to perceive and interpret them as signs of fate (both of lower life and their own). Harmonious Uranus will bring more acceptable, though still initially incomprehensible, both the person’s ideas regarding lower forms of life and their own manifestations, but in this case most catastrophes will pass without significant casualties and may provide energy for solving difficult tasks. Still, speaking of constructiveness here is possible only on the condition of the individual’s conscious work on Uranus; unexpected breakthroughs into the self and sudden, unforeseen manifestations of the human principle are possible even without this work; unfortunately, they vanish as quickly and suddenly as they appear.
