Moon Square Uranus
(Transit. Moon → Natal Uranus)
Various sources for the child’s horoscope
Your child often acts impulsively and unexpectedly. They have an extremely strong need for independence, both in thoughts and actions. Their mood is likely to change very quickly. Rich imagination, intuitive abilities, original fantasy, shifting emotions, strange and unexpected mood swings. Often, one activity becomes boring, and a new, more adventurous and exciting one is invented. Possible tendencies include stubbornness, whims, caprices, and irritability. The child considers their mother unique among all others, different from other mothers. They may perceive their mother as unreliable in providing protection and assistance. One day, the mother may be available to them, and the next day, she may be unreachable. The mother should strive for harmony with the child.

Opposition, square: such aspects may be associated with heightened emotional tension, psychological variability, and instability. Emotional expression has an explosive nature, with sudden outbursts of feelings, often without visible cause. The slightest provocation can ruin their mood and lead to extremes. The person longs for calm and the ability to control their emotions, but this is difficult for them. They may react aggressively to conceal their vulnerability. These traits often underlie instability in family life (though the same can be observed in conjunctions). Conjunctions can take on the meaning of harmonious or disharmonious aspects depending on whether the aspect is favorable or unfavorable.

Moon Square: One should distinguish between people whose soul is dormant and those whose soul has already departed. The Moon square creates significant internal difficulties related to the planetary principle, especially in its perception. For example, the Moon–Mars square gives a sense of the external world’s brutality and aggression in situations where it is not remotely apparent, and conversely, the person may be aggressive and cruel without even noticing it. The Moon square brings the ego’s programs associated with the planet to the surface and makes them visible: the person desperately wants to selfishly consume the planet’s principle, but external and internal circumstances prevent this, resulting in severe frustration, resentment toward the world, and a sense of deprivation, among other things. In their lives, they constantly stumble, and the more they pity themselves, the worse things become.
The karmic content of this square, however, does not lie in straightforward asceticism or renunciation of the planet’s principle (which can sometimes lead to illness) but in a thorough and careful study of the planet’s subconscious programs. This involves separating the egocentric and evolutionarily constructive components and establishing an appropriate “diet.” The problem of the square is that the person tries to consume the planet’s vibrations entirely, but this is difficult for them, or if the Moon is significantly stronger than the planet, the latter becomes heavily profaned. For example, the Moon–Venus square can make a person a ruthless consumer of the opposite sex, subconsciously perceiving (at least in love) the other as fundamentally primitive and crude, while developing a respect (a skill that prevents conscious and subconscious profanation) for the opposite sex. Working through the square brings good understanding and subtlety regarding the planetary principle, as well as the ability to see its influence in another’s subconscious, which can lead to strong pedagogical abilities in relevant fields. For instance, the worked-through Sun–Moon square is an aspect of an excellent class teacher or elementary school teacher.
Moon Square Uranus: A mediocre talent craves moments of inspiration, while a great one craves moments of rest from it. Squares to higher planets produce effects that last for a year, and resisting them is futile—indeed, harmful, as misbehaving in the areas governed by the planet in square to a higher one can seriously disrupt one’s (and others’) life. However, the person chooses how to relate to what happens and how to perceive it—their point of view, both in terms of where they look and from where they look—and this choice largely determines how they process squares to higher planets and, consequently, their fate within the framework of world karma.
For example, the Venus–Uranus square not only creates an irresistible tendency toward eccentric and uncontrollable social behavior in the most suitable circumstances but also an inability to love a partner who does not change over time—the person becomes unbearably bored. However, in response, they can either change partners every month or change their perspective on the same person daily, discovering something fundamentally new in them, though the latter is much harder. Generally, the Uranus square gives the planet genius at the edge of normality (sometimes beyond it), but it is often very difficult to constructively realize Uranian ideas and revelations. The person needs to try to understand the meaning of their eccentricity, learn to read Uranian signs in planetary manifestations, and then they may begin to partially see the complex karmic pattern woven around them. Perhaps they will reveal something previously unseen, incomprehensible, and impossible to the world, yet real.
The manifestations of the Uranus square cannot be understood—they can only be adapted to and learned to work with. Even with luck and effective application, the person will feel as if they are using a cannon to shoot sparrows, while the truly Uranian goal remains invisible. The Uranus square offers excellent opportunities to throw a wrench into the works of others, and if the person sets out to hinder evil and involutionary programs, they can become very inventive in this. Unfortunately, this square is most often used to obstruct the evolutionary flow, creating turbulence within it—karmic knots—through which the creativity of the Absolute manifests. However, the person through whom this creativity is realized becomes a dark teacher. Yet, for the fate of the individual, it matters little at what level and how this dark teaching occurs, whether as a critic, informant, or executioner. Therefore, one should be attentive to the manifestations of the Uranus square, as even minor nuances (including one’s internal attitude toward what is happening) can have far-reaching consequences.
A. Ryzhov. Health, ASC, Sun, Moon
Causes illnesses through nervous strain and accidents. Nervous breakdowns. That is, rushing around—Uranus strikes. Vitality—zero, no pulse, no breathing, and blood pressure 100/200. These Uranian things are extremely draining. It’s better to give your opponent a pumpkin and quietly exit at the nearest stop. All accidents are recorded under Uranus.
Frances Sakoian. Aspects
Rich imagination, unusual abilities, but strong emotional distortion, unexpected, incomprehensible moods. Often, one task becomes boring, and a new, more adventurous and exciting one is invented. Frequent misfortunes—higher circumstances include accidents related to sudden poor health, public and natural disasters, or unstable home situations, frequent changes of residence. Extremely harmful family disturbances. Friends often stir up emotions or, conversely, suppress them. They seek the unusual, the spiritually stimulating. They always view the world with fresh eyes, strongly desiring to reject the old past, which creates excitement.
