Quincunx Mars: The power of evil is evident; the power of good can be assessed by the indirect sign that evil has not yet triumphed completely. This aspect creates in the planet’s spheres a problem of interaction between energy on earthly and cosmic vibrations; on a low level, a person often lacks earthly kinds of energy, yet they poorly control cosmic energy, resulting in certain breakdowns. For example, the Mars–Moon quincunx may give a healer’s talent masked by ordinary linear massage skills, which, however, the person will perform in a rather unusual way—specifically, their hands will move almost on their own in critical situations if they manage to trust them. The latter, however, is not easy, since the subconscious (personal and collective) usually does not trust intuition, let alone movements with unusual energetic vibrations.
The Mars quincunx highlights in the planet’s spheres the problem of the energy level of activity, which means, in particular, the need for a precise choice of its forms and no less precise control over one’s inner energy, since the quincunx will emphasize the cosmic unacceptability of crude emotional states and simply energetic manifestations of instincts. For example, with the Venus–Mars quincunx, relatively crude but socially quite adequate expressions of love will turn out to be completely unacceptable from a cosmic point of view, which the Cosmos will make clear to the person sometimes in rather peculiar ways. But one way or another, the person will eventually realize that in love they should be very, very careful.
When this aspect is worked through—first of all requiring a view of the beloved as a spiritual being—the person will be capable of very intimate, subtle, and deep relationships and interactions.
Quincunx Jupiter: The existence of God awakens in me an inferiority complex. This aspect promises in the planet’s spheres an unusual expansion of opportunities connected with connecting to a cosmic egregore, if the person can reach the corresponding level of vibrations and master its ethics, which may sometimes differ unexpectedly from the usual earthly one. For example, the Jupiter–Uranus quincunx may give a theoretical physicist the ability to read information from very high cosmic planes, but it will remain undistorted only if their spiritual orientation is proper; if not, brilliant ideas will often come to them, promising a great discovery literally just around the corner, yet each time deceiving: the distortion of an initially correct idea is connected with insufficient attention to cosmic ethics, for which the ordinary earthly desire for abstract knowledge is reduced entirely to a rather low mental plane. On a low level, in the planet’s spheres the person will repeatedly grab at cosmic aspects, but these interests and activities will turn out to be episodic and superficial, even though they themselves will likely hold the opposite viewpoint—and at least the deep earthly limitations in these matters of their immediate environment, and indeed humanity.
