Moon quintile: Bream, zander, and ide are equally necessary for evolution, yet for some reason bream tastes better. This aspect brings inner liveliness and intrinsic interest within the spheres of influence of the Planet, evoking in the person a genuine emotional response and an impulse toward inner development in a new direction. The Moon’s defeat grants great vital forces within the Planet’s spheres, which, however, struggle to manifest outwardly, likely resulting in frustrations akin to a poplar tree whose branches are pruned each spring—and even a good portion of its trunk. If this aspect remains unworked, instinctive vitality degenerates, becoming coarser and even vulgar; an unworked Moon is a master of profaning anything at all. This aspect signifies a certain protection of fate—during a critical moment, an unexpected revitalization arises either within the person or in the external world, disrupting the lagging program proceeding according to established plans, creating a spontaneous fluctuation and the possibility of an unconventional solution or way out of a problem. Working with this aspect proceeds through recognizing the meaning and significance of the surge of vitality or unexpected developmental leap, supporting it and adapting it to reality, without which it usually dies quickly and fades away. A strong activation of Uranus may bring within the Planet’s spheres an intensification of life in unprecedented forms, placing the person in a dead end and frightening them greatly; yet hints about its true purpose and nature may be sought by recalling past Uranian flashes and manifestations of vitality within the Planet’s sphere.
