Decile of Mercury: To express participation, one must possess it. In the spheres governed by the Planet and especially in the rational reasoning of a person, inclinations toward humanitarian aspects of relevant issues will prevail. Verbally, a person will demand a humane approach and will be deeply offended by sharp (in their view) remarks from others, perceiving them as inhuman. However, in this case, the connection between the principle of the Planet and Mercury is weak, so, on the one hand, negative manifestations associated with Mercury (e.g., hurtful words) do not directly affect the spheres ruled by the Planet, although the person may feel otherwise. On the other hand, Mercury’s positive influence on the person and the corresponding human spheres of the Planet has a weak direct effect, though the person may not notice it. Therefore, they must strive for subtle effects or involve other planets to avoid appearing (in the eyes of others) as an empty talker and demagogue who cares about the well-being of others only in words.
Decile of Mars: The power of humanism spoils the appetite of a man-eater. This aspect (in theory) elevates the Planet, directing a person’s activity in its spheres toward humanitarian goals, at least providing corresponding impulses, though not imperative ones. This aspect endows the spheres of the Planet with sensitivity to any external aggression, which the person perceives as inhuman, and it also pertains to their own aggression (in the spheres of the Planet), either making it impossible or leading to strong pangs of conscience (if it exists). A debilitated Mars may result in heightened activity in the spheres of the Planet aimed at supporting and aiding others, but implemented clumsily and carelessly, leading to sharp negative consequences (people repay the person’s misplaced and awkward “good” with outright malice, ingratitude, and hostility). A harmonious Mars with a debilitated Planet will provide an intuitively correct direction for humanitarian activity (one’s own or that of others—for oneself), but objectively, there will be significant difficulties in its implementation. If the decile is harmonious, despite good intentions, the person will struggle greatly to overcome their laziness and truly do something humanitarian in the spheres of the Planet, even though they will receive strong human support there. It is crucial for them to cultivate (initially absent) gratitude toward their fate.
