Semi-quintile Mars – Jupiter
(Transit Mars → Natal Jupiter)
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
Decile of Mars: The power of humanism spoils the appetite of the cannibal. This aspect (in theory) ennobles the Planet, making human activity in its spheres directed toward humanism, at least, it will have corresponding impulses, though not imperative. This aspect gives sensitivity in the Planet’s spheres to any external aggression, which the person perceives as anti-human, and also concerns their own aggression (in the Planet’s spheres), either making it impossible or leading to strong pangs of conscience (if it exists). The defeat of Mars may bring great activity in the Planet’s spheres aimed at supporting and helping others, but implemented clumsily, too roughly and carelessly, leading to sharp negative consequences (the person is repaid for their untimely and awkward “good” with outright evil, ingratitude, and malice). A harmonious Mars with an afflicted Planet will provide an intuitively correct direction for humanistic activity (one’s own or others’—for oneself), but objectively, there will be great difficulties in its implementation. If the decile is harmonious, then despite good intentions, the person will find it very difficult to overcome their laziness and actually do something humanistic in the Planet’s spheres, while receiving great human support in return. It is very important to cultivate (initially absent) a sense of gratitude toward one’s fate.
Decile of Jupiter: The humanity of God is no more doubtful than the humanity of man. This person will seek manifestations of their humanity in expanding opportunities for others in areas related to the Planet. In these spheres, they are characterized by broad humanitarian interests; for example, a Sun–Jupiter decile during processing may give a philosopher dealing with the problem of human free will, while at a low level—it may give a religious fanatic who preaches the principle “whoever is not with us is against us” and considers only puppets of their egregore to be human; in this case, they will consider converting others to their faith as humane, and the destruction of the rest. Here, humanism as the expansion of opportunities for others in the Planet’s spheres does not come by itself but requires certain efforts on the person’s part and the involvement of principles of other planets (for example, Sun and Mars, i.e., initiative, energy, etc.). On the other hand, at a low level, the person will boast of their philanthropy and the ability to provide humane assistance in the Planet’s spheres, and any doubt in their real merits here will be perceived as an insult, while minimal restrictions or even a simple comparison with someone greater (or even equally great) will be seen as an inhuman humiliation. A processed Jupiter decile gives (in the relevant areas) great humanitarians, while an unprocessed one—pretensions to this, and the more afflicted Jupiter is, the more it is revealed.
