Tridecile of the Sun: When participating in another’s life, an honest person strives to preserve it. This aspect provides an opportunity for the successful and constructive application of a person’s will to the development of life in the areas governed by the Planet. The individual will not feel direct pressure from circumstances compelling them toward action, but will instead sense an impulse of inner vitality that seems to invite involvement in issues related to revitalizing stagnant forms within the Planet’s spheres. This person is vividly interested in the manifestations and difficulties of life’s development within the Planet’s spheres and will tend to apply their intellect here, or at least discuss these topics. Proper work on this aspect provides good opportunities for rational understanding of the problems of life development in the Planet’s domains, and potential mental agility directed toward their resolution. By realizing their intellectual abilities in this way, the person will experience great satisfaction from the human principle within themselves. This aspect creates a need (and opportunities) for self-expression in the Planet’s sphere through mental activity, and during development, this self-expression will be both lively and engaging for others. For example, a tridecile between Mercury and Jupiter, when properly developed, may produce an original and direct spiritual leader, with a lively and inventive mind, authoritative to precisely the necessary degree: “…for My burden is light…” At a lower level, the person may consider themselves an exceptional expert (and benefactor) in the vital expressions of analysis, as well as in philosophical generalizations, and overall sees themselves as life-giving, yet the actual thoughts of life itself about its progress in these areas will concern them little.
