Venus-Jupiter Conjunction

Venus-Jupiter conjunction

Het Monster: Generosity, optimism. If there are no strong contradictions in the horoscope — cheerful, friendly nature, sociability, willingness to help. They donate money to the needy. In the negative variant — laziness, carelessness. A strong Saturn prevents this danger. In the 5th house — numerous offspring, in the 7th house — happiness in married life.

Catherine Obje: Venus-Jupiter conjunction. In love — tendency to seek pleasures that come easily, and to see the positive side of things and people. A person with this aspect in the horoscope is characterized by optimism, tolerance, does not habitually complicate matters unnecessarily, and is content with what they have; therefore, such individuals are generally considered “lucky in love.” They love comfort in all things. Often, they display conformity in romantic relationships.

A. Podvodny: Venus-Jupiter conjunction. Venus conjunction: One can benefit society only after first distinguishing oneself from it. The conjunction with Venus imparts strong social and aesthetic emphases to the planet’s principle. At a low level, in the spheres ruled by the planet, this person will be aesthetically capricious and socially conditioned; public opinion and “what people do” will be highly significant for them, and freeing the planet’s principle from the influence of social clichés will be difficult. This sometimes results in unpredictable effects when attempting to apply social stereotypes in entirely inappropriate situations—in which the creative signature of the Absolute manifests (at this level). Another characteristic of Venus’s influence on the planet in conjunction with it is an emphasis on love, not necessarily erotic. Working with this aspect brings Divine light to any manifestation of the planet. At a low level, the person does not perceive the planet’s manifestations unless a considerable amount of love directed toward them or social attention is added, although (karmically) they should not so much receive as radiate love in appropriate situations. For example, a child with Venus in conjunction with Saturn can be made to study systematically or simply concentrate only through kindness, affection, love, gentle persuasion, etc., but never by force; and public ridicule will literally force them to cower in a corner and burst into tears. At a low level, Venus relaxes the planet, making the person a social parasite and refined egoist in the corresponding areas, but through conscious work, egoism gives way to service to others. For instance, the conjunction of Venus with the Moon may produce a glutton and gourmet who cares exclusively about their stomach, but after development — an excellent performer; the same applies to their sexual life.

Jupiter conjunction: Standing on the shoulders of giants, make sure they don’t stoop because of it. At a low level, the conjunction with Jupiter gives the planet an acute sense of self-importance. The person sincerely believes that all their expressions in the relevant areas are extraordinarily important and significant, that they have immense potential, and that everyone, understanding this, should help them and serve them selflessly. Indeed, this aspect potentially brings great expansion of the planet’s principle and sometimes undeserved happiness (especially with a strong Jupiter), such as powerful patronage. The danger here lies in the person’s tendency to perceive these opportunities as given, as if it could not be otherwise, and to indulge in purely egoistic, joyful consumption. The key to working with this aspect lies in becoming aware of one’s responsibility for any Jupiterian gifts and opportunities as group values, and in their most effective and creative distribution. The conjunction with Jupiter signifies an intense invitation from the egregore, and the person (karmically) must not only consume the gifts but also enter the egregore and perform the necessary work within it (or for it), or else pass the channel to the appropriate person. For example, the conjunction of Jupiter with Mars means the person will have abundant energy coming from diverse sources, but also a strong temptation to expend it chaotically, thoughtlessly, and inefficiently, although for a long time they may subconsciously believe that any of their active deeds are flawless and bring pure grace. At a high level of development, such a person opens high energetic and spiritual channels for others (in general, the conjunction with Jupiter is the aspect of the preacher).
