Moon – Jupiter Square
(Transit: Moon → Natal Jupiter)
Different sources for the child’s horoscope
Your child may have a tendency toward carelessness, excessive emotions, and overgenerosity. Because of this, other children may often deceive them. There may also be issues with parents, such as the mother being overly indulgent or overly oppressive. Patience is difficult to develop—this is the “I want it now” syndrome. A tendency to wander, to go on aimless trips. Such a child loves to eat a lot and often has excess weight. The mother may seem overly caring to the child (Eat everything, don’t leave anything on the plate!).
Het Monster. Aspects
Excessive emotions (the mother is overly indulgent). Unwise generosity. They can be tricked with a fabricated story and swindled out of money. Generosity must be cautious! Dreams of domestic luxury. A tendency to wander, to go on aimless trips. Often excess weight. Abroad, misfortune awaits. In a weak horoscope—laziness. If there is money—idleness, sometimes a sense of grandeur. The Moon–Jupiter square is dangerous only in cases where Jupiter is the ruler of the 8th house or occupies it, or when these planets are placed in the signs of Virgo and Gemini: dangerous illnesses, unstable position, frequent changes, and financial losses.
Catherine Aubier. Astrological Dictionary
Opposition, square: heightened emotionality, a tendency to exaggerate, narcissism, superficial perception, tactlessness; lack of moral restraints can lead to extremes.
Avesalom Podvodny. Aspects
The Moon square: One should distinguish between people whose soul is asleep and those from whom it has already departed. The Moon square creates significant internal difficulties related to the planetary principle, especially in its perception. For example, the Moon–Mars square gives a sense of the brutality and aggression of the external world in situations where it is not even remotely the case, and conversely, a person may be aggressive and cruel without even noticing it. The Moon square amplifies and makes visible the ego programs associated with the planet: a person very much wants to selfishly consume its principle, but external and internal circumstances are arranged in such a way that they cannot do so, resulting in severe frustration, resentment toward the world, a sense of deprivation, and so on. Everything constantly trips them up, and the more they pity themselves, the worse it gets for them. However, the karmic content of this square does not lie in straightforward asceticism or renunciation of the planet’s principle (which can sometimes lead to illness) but in a thorough and careful study of the corresponding subconscious programs, distinguishing between their egocentric and evolutionarily constructive components, and establishing an adequate “diet.” The problem of the square is that the person either tries to consume the planet’s vibrations entirely on their own, which they do poorly, or, if the Moon is significantly stronger than the planet, the latter becomes greatly profaned. For example, the Moon–Venus square can make a person a ruthless consumer of the opposite sex, who subconsciously perceives (at least in love) the other as crude and primitive, and develop within themselves respect (i.e., a skill that prevents conscious and subconscious profanation) for the opposite sex. Working through this aspect grants a good understanding and subtlety regarding the planetary principle, as well as the ability to see its influence in another’s subconscious, which provides good pedagogical abilities in relevant fields; for example, the worked-through Moon–Sun square is an aspect of a good class teacher or elementary school teacher.
The Jupiter square: True greatness requires no proof—only measure. The Jupiter square promises the planet much… unfortunately, most often, these promises remain just that. In the areas governed by the planet, a person feels their greatness, not only potential but also actual, yet others usually do not see it or doubt it, and the first somehow never manages to manifest. The Jupiter square gives the planet expansion, but not in the way the person wants: either not in the right direction, or in a style foreign to them, or simply not what they expected; at least, that is how it seems to the person. This square (which can be called the Lucifer aspect) creates a temptation toward pride, superficiality, and too easily obtaining what is not quite what the person truly wanted and not what they need for evolutionary development. In the areas governed by the planet, a person is characterized by a constant superficial interest in “higher matters,” philosophical generalizations, and abstract-religious approaches, but they tend to stop precisely at the point where something truly important and interesting to them begins—something that is not presented as a luxurious gift but requires effort. For example, the Venus–Jupiter square with a strong Jupiter can produce a person who attracts a great deal of love, appears beautiful, interesting, and unusual at first glance, but in concrete romantic relationships turns out to be entirely self-absorbed, full of their own beauty and general splendor, and completely unable (and unwilling) to spare even a moment’s thought for the hopelessness of social (let alone emotional and sexual) connections, though they do not diminish their arrogance. Karmically, this aspect signifies the need (in the areas governed by the planet) to learn to treat the gifts and doors of fate that open before you with great caution and care, to understand that they imply further work and are ultimately meant for the world, not for the self. On a low level, a person tends toward (if there is even the slightest opportunity) playing the role of a generous benefactor, which they fail miserably at, as their self-interest and inadequacy or uselessness of their generosity are glaringly transparent, and their overall clumsiness evokes more irritation than pity or gratitude. Working through this aspect grants the rare ability to karmically use your luck correctly, and by rejecting false opportunities and temptations, to receive the invaluable gift of true spiritual assistance, as well as the ability (in the areas governed by the planet) to guide another onto the true path by showing them the karmic role of their temptations and delusions.

Causes diseases of the blood and liver. Do not overeat. Intestinal obstruction. Illnesses due to intemperance and a high standard of living.
Frances Sakoian. Aspects
Excessive emotions, for example: the mother is overly indulgent. Unwise generosity. They can be tricked with a fabricated sad story and swindled out of money. Generosity must be cautious and beneficial. A tendency toward carelessness and extravagance. Dreams of domestic luxury. Problems with faith, as they do not share their parents’ views. They are either agnostics or fanatics in matters of faith—there is no middle ground. Jupiter does everything on a grand scale. This is emotional extremism, regardless of the form it takes. A tendency to wander, to go on aimless trips, love of eating a lot, often with excess weight. Possible fluid retention in the body, giving a noticeably bloated appearance. Abroad, misfortune awaits. In a weak horoscope—laziness. If there is money—idleness, a sweet life, and sometimes a sense of grandeur.

Excessiveness, overestimation of one’s strength, wastefulness of energy and resources, erroneous judgments, unfavorable changes, internal tension, struggle for success and popularity, wounded pride and honor, self-love, hidden motives, hidden resentment, arbitrariness, stubbornness, obstinacy. Carefreeness, openness, carelessness, poor health. In men—family discord. The positive side includes fighting injustice (especially from those in power), defending the oppressed, the weak, and the downtrodden even at one’s own expense, a readiness to go to any lengths in the struggle for justice, great generosity of spirit, deep understanding, and the ability to forgive even the betrayal of friends.
